I don't think the weight is the issue the real issue is his lack of experience on this type of level. You don't go from fighting Katsidis to Mayweather just like that lol.
Ortiz went from Berto to Mayweather.
Guerro was on the floor vs a washed up Casamayor and it went 12 rounds. Then he went the distancde with Kats and was hurt by body shots along the way. When you see how easily Burns handled Katsiidis, its hard to imagine Rob going from that display to all of a sudden beating Mayweather.
What I will say though is Rob is a good fighter at his weight. Quick, neat boxer and Id give him a good shot vs Marquez but not Floyd.
The size difference will also be huge. You're talking about a lightweight who's been fighting lightweight or less.
I remember watching a video with Guerrero talking about his weight where he said he was around 150 pounds on fight night. (same as Mayweather)
nope...he is trash for floyd...you can put 2 guerreros with floyd and floyd would still beat em(i know it's exagerration ) ..but that's to say guerrero is sh1t, no matter what.....guerrero hasnt even beaten a B level fighter...
Guerrero is a monster at lightweight. He'll be just fine at Welterweight. In addition he'll be much faster then people realize. Canelo is slow and he almost got knocked out by Jose Cotto. His chin is suspect. Look at the picture below and tell me Guerrero is small, he's bigger then James Kirkland who fights at 154. Guerrero is to small, please!!
