If Pac wants Floyd, I think he can make that fight happen and Arum will acquiesce.
So why is Floyd looking to fight Guerrero and Alvarez without even considering Pac in the mix?

Pacman wants Floyd but…
By Nick Giongco
Manny Pacquiao said on Saturday that he was delighted that Floyd Mayweather has been allowed to postpone his 90-day prison term, telling ********* and Manila Bulletin that a matchup with the undefeated American “is a better match.”
Coming a few days before Hall of Fame promoter Bob Arum visits Manila to discuss Pacquiao’s next fight, Mayweather was permitted to defer his prison sentence so he can fulfill his obligations to fight on May 5 in Las Vegas. Arum will have four proposals that he will present to Pacquiao next week and among those being eyed for his much-awaited return to the ring are Juan Manuel Marquez, Tim Bradley, Lamont Peterson and Miguel Cotto.
Now that Mayweather seems to be available, Pacquiao will raise the matter with Arum once they meet.
This latest development on Mayweather doesn’t actually guarantee that a proposed super showdown between the two claimants to the mythical title of pound-for-pound king can be easily made.
Even if Pacquiao has already agreed to two of Mayweather’s demands–Olympic-style testing and the smaller piece of the pie–Pacquiao said everything would still boil down to the negotiations.
“We’ll see if we can agree,” said Pacquiao from his native General Santos City.
Arum was surprised by the decision to favor Mayweather and the 80-year-old boxing figure cautioned everyone that it doesn’t mean that all roads lead to a Pacquiao-Mayweather duel on May 5.
There are several factors to consider according to Arum and one of them is the venue.
Mayweather is contracted to fight at the MGM Grand which can only sit 18,000 and Arum wants it to be held in a larger site.
A few weeks ago, Arum had revealed that a 40,000-capacity stadium can be put up on the Las Vegas strip to host the fight.
Reports from the US say that Mayweather is targeting a fight with Robert Guerrero or Saul Alvarez.
Pacquiao wants Floyd but he's too scared to boss up to his promoter. If he shakes Bob Arum, he will be ousted as PED user by his former boss. Then there will be 3 to 5 Top Rank fighters who Pacquiao is ducking. There will be a conventional fighter who's left hand is too dangerous that Manny is deathly afraid of.
Either he's too afraid to boss up to his promoter or he is in league with his decision to avoid Floyd altogether. If we don't see any rebellion from Pacman then we will have to be forced to believe that he trusts his promoter to put him in there with fights that he can easily manage.
If Pac wants Floyd, I think he can make that fight happen and Arum will acquiesce.

Please link me to the article which quotes Floyd Mayweather saying he is considering Robert Guerroro and Saul Alvarez as his next opponent. Mayweather hasn't said a word about either of these guys. In fact, he hasn't mentioned anyone as a potential next opponent. People like you see these rumors about Floyd printed in the media and on message boards and jump on them as if they are fact. We have no idea who Floyd's next opponent will be.
Pac wants to fight Mayweather, but his promoter doesn't and his promoter makes all the decisions. Arum is using this alleged stadium as an excuse for why Mayweather/Pac can't fight in May. Someone, please tell me when Arum talked to Floyd's team and got permission to build this stadium? The fact is that Arum hasn't spoke to anyone from Team Mayweather and Mayweather is not fighting anywhere except the MGM Grand. This is just another excuse from Arum and all the Pactards and all the idiots in the boxing media, except, Ben Th.ompson accept it without question.
I love how you pactards ignore the fact that a member of this very forum who has very close ties to team mayweather post's a thread of who he is fighting next and just decide to just keep making your selfs look bad. :lol1::lol1:
Im bored lol. I went through his posts and yep he's a pactard. Ignore him. oh and mikemurni don't try to respond to me, you're blocked. :bottle::bottle:

You are an idiot if you cant see who is blocking this fight and who is making a room for it. Floyd threw a road block when he asked for OST never been required by any boxing commission in a fight. Pac rejected it at first in which is understandble but now Pac removed the road block when he agreed to his demand. Just as we know after lifting the road block this fight might really happen now, Floyd threw another road block when demanded to have a bigger share of the pie. Floyd should know who is the FOTD, P4P#1, 8 divisions champ, who endorses product like Nike and HP and many more but still Pac removed this road block when he agreed for a smaller pie. Floyd keep throwing road blocks to the fights people want him to see. He throws road blocks against Cotto, Matgarito and Pacquaio by faking his retirement or vacatons.
again forget the past.
now is the time to make the fight. when floyd was sentenced Pac said he'll fight in May.
now that Floyd can fight in May, Pac cant fight in May. You are an idiot if you cant see that Pac is the one ducking.
If this fight cant happen in May, then they wont be able to fight coz Floyd will serve the sentence. IDIOT.
lol. now im a flomo? sh*t pactard. i am a filipino and ive defended pac many times before.
But you cannot defend him now no matter how you twist it.
Pac is ducking Floyd. clear as day

I understand what the post was all about just fine, it's nonsense. Arum used the testing issue as an excuse to walk away from Mayweather and to Clottey. It's silly to say or imply that the fight would have happened by now if not for Mayweather's testing request. That just shows a lack of critical thinking skills.
You're a moron, you dont even know the topic that I was going back and forth with your fellow Flomo.. Try to figure that one first, and then get back to me..lol...
it's over Pactards. give it up. Pac is the one ducking Mayweather.
I am a Pac fan but he should just retire if he doesnt want to fight Floyd.
shhhhhiiiiiittt. F*ck you Pac and Arum. you both piss me off

If I'm not mistaken, it has been Team Pac that has been initiating contact with Team May and nothing the other way around.
You should ask yourself who initiated the very first negotiations (and who walked away from it) and the most recent.....it wasn't Arum or Pac! lol It looks like Arum is throwing another spanner in the works to find an excuse from having his little man face Floyd....again.
Said the guy who inhales Floyd's fart in the morning...

You only believe that because you're not too bright. Even someone of average intelligence would understand what's really being going on at this point. Arum doesn't want the fight and Pacquiao is perfectly fine with that.
And you are an idiot, why dont you back read, and see what that post is all about before butting in...lol...
Pac - if you want Floyd next, demand it. You are Arum's boss, not the other way around. Arum is going to hand you a piece of paper with four names on it - Peterson, Bradley, Cotto and Marquez. You should pick up a pen, cross each of them out, and write Floyd Mayweather Jr. Then, ideally, hit Arum with the same mega-tonne left hand that destroyed Hatton....
In all seriousness, Pacquiao probably needs to regain a bit of confidence. His self-belief must have taken a knock after the Marquez fight, not least of all because the entire arena seemed to boo and protest his victory. And also because his old cramp problems seemed to resurface. I don't mind TOO much that he's having another fight in June, because hopefully it will mean a big, impressive win, no cramps, and a more eagerly-anticipated showdown with Floyd in November (providing Floyd also wins, and looks great, in May). Right now, the shine of this fight has kinda been lost because of the way Manny looked in his last fight. I'd like to see them both win big in May/June to recharge the momentum for this showdown.
