Mayweather v Pacquiao has totally lost its appeal

Following years of failed negotiations and Arums latest statement (if true) that Pac wont be ready to face Mayweather until November 2012 this fight has totally lost its shine for me, im fukked if i want to see a 35 and a 34 year old put on a second rate showing of what 5 years ago would of been a hell of a fight. The years have advanced, Pac has had a couple of relatively unconvincing performances and suffers from bad cramps, Mayweather too has slowed, is not as offensive as he used to be and the first thing a fighter loses is his speed and reflexes, something Floyd relies on most. Remember when Sugar Ray Leonard was Mayweathers age he got hammered by Terry Norris, time (and weight) had caught up with him. I think Floyd is a few years past his prime and Pac peaked with the Cotto fight. While both fighters and their teams have become extremely rich, boxing and its fans have been robbed, from now on in this fight will never live up to its expectation, never be what it could have been, and if it happens at all will be an anti-climax

Im surprise that alot of u guys feel the same way i feel and to be honest ive never been interested in mayweather vs pacquiao because i always thought mayweather was superior to pacquiao....better skills, faster, stronger, taller, ect ect... But im kinda surprise cause most of u guys feel this way but hey u cant play with peoples emotions and think that the fans wont get tired of this bullsh!t.....im and underdog type of guy and ive seen the way boxers get critized on these forums and honestly im gonna start watching the up and comers cause they bring excitement to the boxing world..... thanxs thats alll

if this had happened when it should have happened I'd have been totally up for it and would have bought the pay per view and been super excited etc etc. I flat out refuse to buy it now if it ever happens and have lost alot of respect and liking for both fighters. Pac used to be my favourite but I'm tired of all the bob arum bull**** with him not telling the old fart to **** off. As for floyd well he was never my favourite but I used to have great respect for the guy and his skills. Turns out his just a wife beating ***** who refuses to fight anybody that has even the slightest chance of beating him just so he can protect his precious record. Thumbs down to this fight. They waited jerking off to their reflections for too long. I'm not interested anymore. Floyd protecting his record?! He's fought the best of the best and it's not his fault Pacquiao doesn't want none.

This fight reached its saturation point for me around the time Pac fought Cotto. Since then my interest has been steadily declining in a similar way to the Wlad Haye fight. By the time that was announced I really didn't give a toss anymore. I felt nothing, and I doubt I'll feel anything if this pipe dream ever materialises.

im on with this bandwagon. all this bullshi ttin. I won't get this fight at the house, I'll go to a bar for it. what a waste these two have become. I haven't cared for a floyd fight in about 8 years (save the mosley fight) and I haven't really cared for a pac fight since cotto.

It has honestly. They've sat on it too damn long. Now Floyd is going to jail for a short time and Pacquiao doesn't look near unbeatable anymore. No matter what I feel like the public won't accept the fight happening within their next 2 fights.
