Pacquiao doesn't suck as a fighter. I don't care what team Cotto has around him or how discipline he stays. He can't beat Pac, he just can't. Just because JMM had tremendous success doesn't mean that Cotto or every fighter after that can have the same success. I don't care if Pac was exposed or if the blueprint is out there. Cotto doesn't have the skill nor the IQ to follow such blueprint that a JMM has.
I agree. Cotto will never beat Pacquiao. Cotto's win over Margarito has been overrated. Pacquiao and Margarito are not alike in any aspect.Especially at this stage.
And it's not like Cotto made no effort to box Pacquiao in the first fight. He didn't just stop and start brawling for no reason, Pacquiao effectively countered his jab and hurt him.
it's comedy how pac struggles with marquez (no surprise there) and cotto beats margarito, who hasn't won a fight in years, and all of a sudden cotto can suddenly beat pacquiao if he stays "disciplined." Classic NSB logic

if they fight Timmy I would be shocked!!!... doubt they wanna risk that Floyd payday....so it boils down to Peterson or Cotto....Cotto won't get the fight if he don't sign his soul over to the devil....since Peterson is a free agent....the Devil shouldn't have a problem buying Lamont's soul.....I say Lamont gets the fight....Bradley and JMM can win....Cotto and Lamont would get beat up.....no matter the weight, Manny will always bust Cotto up and put his nike in his ass imo....Cotto is my dude but it is what it is!!
I'm pretty sure bradley.
Marquez is out of the picture because of his demands (according to one of pac's people anyway), cotto is unlikely cuz of weight. I suppose it could be peterson but I think they'll go with bradley.
By logic of deduction, this sounds about right. However, the big issue with Bradley is PPV (in terms of sales) and Arum always pushes for the biggest money fight - which would be Cotto (if Marquez is not negotiable). Besides, Arum wants to build up Brand Bradley first anyway and make him more marketable for a Pac fight later on. I really don't think Pac is interested in being anywhere near the 150lb. mark tbh. If negotiations with Marquez can be worked out, it makes the most money and entertainment value for all parties. Too many unknown variables atm to know for sure IMO.
Depends on what demands Pac/Arum are willing to bend to JMM. I think Arum and Koncz will push their agenda to Pac in this order....
Marquez (if the terms of his demands aren't overly outrageous to Pac)
Cotto (but they'll want him back at 147lb IMO)
Bradley (low PPV sales - TR build Bradley up first)
Peterson (even lower PPV sales)
is gona be pacquiao vs cotto 2 watch and see remember cotto vs forman if you saw that fight pacquiao was there in the public watching it and after the fight in a interview he said he would love to fight cotto again in a rematch so the time is now!!! plus they 2 are the only biggest money draw in boxing right know with floyd out of the picture for now!!

agreed.......
Probably won't go as far as to say "He takes him" but if Cotto puts it all together, he's got this. It's as simple as strictly boxing, circling, getting off the ropes and bringing his right hand to the fight. Mosley neutralized Pacquiao's offense with simple movement, sadly he could no longer pull the trigger, different mentally from a younger Mosley too, definitely not the case with Cotto. Miguel just needs to fight a very disciplined fight and not get fooled by Manny's size.
Don't be fool, for Cotto doesn't have right hand. This has been the picking for Manny quite sometime. Manny's game is locked. you either don't have a right hand ala Diaz, Cotto, Delahoya, or Hatton, or slow come forward Clottey and Margarito. Mosley fell in both Categories when he fought Pac (shot to pieces). Listen, the only technical right handed fighter Pac has fought since Marquez is Marquez and look what happened again. Cotto will never beat Pac without a right hand.
This is what makes the Mayweather Vs. Pac saga interesting, because they would be fighting their worst nightmare, in each other.

The only way cotto is gettin that pacquiao money is if he signs another long @$$ bob arum contract.think Peterson is nxt
PLEASE fight Bradley, Pac. Hell, I'd accept Peterson too, I just want to see Pac in the ring with someone versatile, he needs to start fighting these guys again.
That being said, Marquez or Cotto are the obvious choices.
mosley didnt neutralize anything. he run scared after that knockdown. he didnt even know what happened between rounds 3-8 according to him :lol1:
Nazim Richardson was every bit right in saying Pacquiao got exposed, even in dominating, one could get exposed. As his inability to cut off the ring became apparent, Marquez followed Mosley's blueprint to some extent and imploded more movement, Marquez who recently has been more of a stationary counter puncher. If Mosley could do it and an old LW in Marquez can follow, then it's more than possible for Cotto to do it as well.
In the bold, cause he's old, I once mention how Mosley looked like those senior citizens who be jobbing in the morning when everyone's asleep.

I agree entirely bro!!
Who will be Manny's next opponent or who do we want to be Manny's next opponent?
I would LIKE to see Pacquiao-Bradley...just an interesting clash of styles.
I THINK we're going to see Marquez fight Bradley and the winner fight the winner of Pacquiao-Cotto 2(which will be Pac again).
The former.
