His wins over Whitaker and Chavez may be overrated, because they were past their primes. But, Oscar still had a ton of good wins, and some controversial L's.
What do you think???
I give his resume an A+. The only problem I always had with him was his lack of discipline and he never gave it all when he was training. Other than that his got one of the best resumes from the last 15 years.
Wait a minute...So you gave Floyd Jr, Pacquiao and Roy Jones resumes I think B- to B+ for those 3. But, you're giving Oscar an A- or an A?
And, no we don't know if Shane was on PED's the first fight we don't. We know he was on it for the 2nd fight but not the first. What we do know is that Oscar has yet signed the waiver. So we don't know what he was on either.
Oscar does not have a better resume than Floyd, or Pac, or Roy. He just doesn't.
dude seriously? His resume just makes mayweathers and pacquiaos look average.
really?...start a hopkins resume thread and lets count how many smaller men, pointless rematches, and excuses for losing pop up...i got the popcorn and the shlitz on standby
Well actually most of Hopkins wins were not over smaller men. Delahoya was but Trinidad was a legitimate and dangerous middleweight. And he was favored to beat Hopkins just as Pavlik was favored. Nobody mentioned size until after those fights.

Absolutely moronic response.

for all we know some prostitute blew coke up his a55 right before the fight.
lmao...i know who i don't have on a top 100 atg list...
hopkins fighting smaller men would never make any atg list of mine...and lets not start ringing up excuses, because hopkins and his excuse making machine leads the pack...
Absolutely moronic response.
Lol. You dont think hopkins is atg but you think those signature wins and allegedly giving hopkins trouble make him atg?
Inacive Quartey, half dead vargas, and controversial on his way out sweet pea.
Who else dO you have atg top 100 since 1990?
Lol

dlh...stellar resume...1st ballot hof and top 100 atg in my book...his signature wins against whitaker, quartey, and vargas he earned those wins...he gave hopkins all sorts of problems by going to the body in the early rounds, until hopkins just bowled him over because he was just bigger....if
he went all out against trinidad the way he went after quartey, he would have won that fight easy...mayweather and shane were just better men, but mayweather wouldn't have had it so easy in his days @ 135...pacquiao he was just dead...he'll be underrated my many, but gets my respect...

You gave his resume an A and claimed "they don't make them like Oscar anymore".That speaks for itself.
I meant fighters these days don't fight the best and instead fight weak opposition and try to sue one another to avoid fights. Oscar fought the best all the way to the end! Never called anyone an ATG, but Oscar is a first ballot HOF'er and top 100 ATG in my book.
The fact is he didn't go all out against Trinidad. You can't credit him for something he didn't do. And Mayweather wasn't fighting at his best weight either.
i didn't credit him for not going all out against trinidad, and he was past his best against fmj, and still didn't do that bad...

Yeah, fighting the #1 P4P guy in the world with 8 title defenses is a cherrypick. GTFO with that.
Whitaker was not number 1 p4p when he fought Oscar. He wasn't even the best in the division at that point.
ODH is only an ATG in the sense he brought new fans to the sport and made serious money when he was the "face of boxing". He's not an ATG fighter but his weigh ins had more fans in attendance then some ATG's fights.
Yes he's an ATG draw not an ATG fighter. Don't care in what sense you try to use he's not an ATG fighter.
How is that relevant?
Also considering you gave him a 9, I'd like to know what you consider a 10.
His rating system must be 1-15, 1-20. PPV King...smh.
