you probably couldn't name half of the 15 greatest boxers ever and if you seriously think a win over manny pacquiao at WW makes floyd a top 15 atg you are being foolish where both guys arent fighting at their best weight, i would give both credit for what they've done at 147. more credit for pacquiao than mayweather if he won the fight. its not like pacquiao has just been scraping by with his wins against bums. maybe guys past prime and worn out, but certainly not bums.

Some people desperate for Floyd to get some recognition, well ok then if it makes you happy. But Pac would still be higher ATG wise. If Floyd were to rematch Pac and same result again, and beats Sergio, then Floyd would be comparable to Pac. That may sound harsh to floyd on the surface, but Pacs wins over Morales by stoppage, Barrera, Ko of Hatton, Cotto has just put Pac that much in front of Floyd. Floyd has a lot of catchup to do.

We will see, hope the fight happens. BTW, I thought JMM beat pac by 2 rounds in the rubber match but it doesn't mean floyd will win against pac that easy. This is a very intriguing fight but may be a boring one in favor of floyd, nobody really knows until it happens. Hindsight is a 20/20 vision. i dont think mayweather would totally blow him out. 116-112ish. i dont see mayweather stopping him unless its on cuts. boring, maybe...but there would be some action because pacquiao has so much heart. if pacquiao can't get him out early, mayweather wins. i think mayweathers body punching would slow pacquiao down too much for him to do anything late

even though i believe floyd will beat the dog crap outta pacroid......i wasn't using the triangle theory argument. the agument i was making was how the hell can one NOT RATE a jmm win just as high if not higher than a pacquiao win at ww? jmm outboxed pac in their fight at 140+ so this proves that jmm can more than hold his own at ww. people are overrating a hypothetical pacquiao win and underrating the jmm win. I'd honestly put him top 10. A win over Martinez at middleweight afterwards puts him top 3. Martinez, please..overrate him much. I'd put him top 20 easily.

No disrespect to JMM...But, he still not as great as MAB or EM. But, JMM is an ATG no doubt. He solidified his ATG status with the 3rd Pac fight. No doubt about that...It was probably debatable beforehand. But, after that the debate is over. However, I still have the likes of Barrera and Morales ahead of him. And, even though the 3 Mexican Muskateers are ATG's with a doubt. They're right behind the likes of Roy, B-Hop, Floyd, and Pac. Doesn't make them any less great though. Pac is a great fighter. It's sad that both fan bases don't respect their favorite fighter rival. These are great fighters here. Beating them means something. i agree a bit. i'd have morales in front but jmm and mab are pretty close. overall, they should all go down in history as 3 of mexico's greatest. something to think about though...almost all of mab's losses were legit. jmm's weren't
