Carl Froch deserves everyone's respect this morning.
Over the past three years, he's fought tougher competition than ANY fighter on the planet.
In order, he faced Jean Pascal, Jermain Taylor, Andre Dirrell, Mikkel Kessler, Arthur Abraham, Glen Johnson and Andre Ward. And only two of those seven fights took place in the UK.
Nobody, Mayweather, Pacquaio, Cotto ... you name them ... has fought better world-class competition than Froch over the past three years. NOBODY.
And he would've fought Kessler twice, but Mikkel bowed out and was replaced by Glen Johnson.
In the end, the best fight of the whole tournament was Froch-Kessler (a true Super Middleweight CLASSIC).
Carl Froch IS THE MAN. He deserves a long rest and the thanks and appreciation of every boxing fan!

never had a problem with Froch, he earn my respect during this Tournament as well as many fans in America
some his fans are just fukin a$$holes and run their mouth too much on these boxing forums...like Hatton fans...but other then that I am a fans of Froch, he is a Warrior and one of the toughest dudes in boxing today
been saying this for a while now
froch's schedule has been harder than anybody else's in boxing.
i too hope he takes at least six months off
gets a fight back at home in nottingham
and then gets a crack at the big names again if he wants them
fights with cloud and rematches with kessler and pascal could still be classics.
