Ward Top 5 P4P?

on my list i have pac, floyd, marquez and then ward. hes done more in these 3 years than donaire has done in the last 5. its a shame really. both oakland fighters...but it is what it is.

On mine, I got him at #4. I still got Floyd, Pac, and JMM in the top 3. Cant really argue too much there bud, I have Marquez at #4 but he is aging and if he continues i see him slipping soon. Fukkin Love Marquez though, one of my All Timers! :boxing:

Yeah, both in the Top 10 for me. Andre Ward possibly Top 5 but I'm not sure who I replace between Mayweather, Marquez, Pac, Donaire or Martinez. Probably Martinez. He can go in front of Donaire for me. Nonito is doing the Darch cycle again; post huge win and follow up with not much. WV2 and Arce are a waste of his time. I don't trust Top Rank to seriously make Nishioka.

I cant stand Ward or his style of "fighting", but if you look back at some of the "Who is in your top 10 P4P?" threads, he was always hovering around 4-7 on mine. I may not be able to stand the kid, but he will be very hard to beat.

He is EASILY Fighter Of The Year and he should be Top 3 P4P...let him replace Martinez, Ward Cleaned Out His Division and fought the best in his division while Martinez is chasing SMALLER GUYS and just fought some guy nobody heard of in Darren Barker I don't know about easily. Viloria is right there as well, if with less exposure. If Rios hadn't blown his belt on the scales, he'd have a case as well. Ward will get it in part for the full body of the tourney, but I think Viloria's year was as commendable.

Absolutely. One of Donai or Martinez need to be bumped down. Id guess it would be Martinez if this stuff with Pirog never gets settled.

He's top 5 bcse of Froch-Kessler-Bika all others need not mentioned Still don't get that OK now I see from him Kessler win was his best by far Froch great win but he showed some holes and Froch looked terrible Ward had alot to do with it but some was all Froch and he still was in the fight a couple shots landed here and there he could of pulled out a few more rounds

This just doesn't make sense to me. I don't care who's on Ward's resume, he's obviously not a better p4p fighter than Mayweather at this point. And it probably never will. There is none so blind as those who simply will not see. These last couple of years Floyd has been displaying his skill against old fighters, shot. or young inexperienced guys. I thought those guys might have had a chance. The majority how ever did not. Now Ward has displayed his skills against better fighters than Floyd has. Now How that could not make sense to you is beyond me. One guy, (Ward), are beating world class fighters dominantly. Not old, shot, washed up or inexperienced guys, but prime, favored solid fighters. The other, (Floyd) is beating fighters that 90% of boxing fans thought never had a chance to begin with, it's really self explanitory.

Top 10 for sure I still have B-hop, Nonito, and Martinez above him could even put K2 above him obviously with Floyd and Manny being top 2.

I now think Floyd and Ward are the best in the sport p4p, but I still rather watch guys like Pacquiao and Martinez who are actually entertaining.

On the strength of Wards resume these last couple of years, he just may be #1. I mean the guys above him haven't really faced anyone capable of beating them & were favored damn near everytime they fought. Ward Dominated the tourney favorite in his very first supersix fight. Pacman got the 1 spot went Floyd semi retired & has some how held it down beating a shot old Margarito & Mosley & escaping with an undiserved win against a lightweight, who turned him, countered him & beat him silly in the center of the ring as a smaller, weaker & slower fighter.
