Yeah and if he thinks Pavlik is a rough fighter he couldn't see Ward at any time at 168. it's not about being rough dumbass, those guys throw alot of punches, alot of heavy punches, and both ate ALOT of leather to get where they got ward would get knocked the fukk out vs the taylor that fought froch, simple, no way around it, you'd have to be delusional to think otherwise, people are too into the times and forget how these past guys used to fight, same sht that happens all the time around here no way in hell ward would win vs taylor

just like Hopkins boxed his ears off because Taylor is that one dimensional right Hopkins wasn't nearly as active as he should have been in those fights. Taylor's use and explosiveness helped him, however. But Taylor literally just fought. I can't remember him ever slipping a punch. I think Ward would have outboxed Taylor, with relative ease. Too fight that many top fighters back-to-back and not lose would be very difficult so not out of the question he could of lost Ward hasn't really fought anybody with fast hands or speedy footwork and other than Bika noone that can fight in close quarters his resume is pretty weak when put against Froch. There were circumstances that favored Ward and not Froch in there only head-to-head match up(Kessler) but all will be settled soon...

Quick question: I know Andre has fought all of his fights in the US and the majority in the Oakland area. But has he really benefited from hometown judging and refs? All of his fights have been wipeouts and really no opportunity for any controversy or home-cooking to help him. I think people are reaching fighting in your home town is an advantage even if its not a close decision also the Kessler fight would have been a different fight in Denmark imo I still favor Ward but it would have been a closer fight

Er, not really. My post was in response to another poster, who said something along the lines of Ward having easy fights earlier in his career as opposed to Froch. When the fact is, Froch's level of opposition eariler in his career was utterly pathetic. And he has only being fighting Top level opposition since the tail end of 2008. And has only been fighting quality opposition 1 year longer than Ward. No spin, no nothing. It's not making anyone sound worse or better, just a mere response to something. It still doesn't change the fact that Froch up to this point on a whole has fought better fihgters than Ward. I have never denied that. WARD has found fortitude of late early in his career when Froch was fighting the likes of Pascal i think i can see a loss on his record. But dabbling with the "What if" factor here. But saying Ward had the luxury of easier fights earlier in his career as opposed to Froch is wrong considering Froch's level of competition was just as bad as Ward's up until the Pascal fight. And Froch has only been fighting quality opposition a year longer than Ward. That's all.
