Kahn just dug his own grave. He is now most likely the most hated fighter in Boxing. Nice job killing your career you crybaby. :bottle:
Khan did it to himself. What a sore loser ! Does he ever stop talking?
Khan is nothing but a Prima Donna Twit. He could go into a room with all-time great fighters and think they are all there just to see him. Great seeing Peterson rip him a new hole last Saturday.
'Nowhere in the WBA rulebook does it say pushing isn't allowed'... Dear me... Is Khan serious? He's been boxing since the age of 10... When has he ever learnt to push an opponent in the gym?
Anyway, I thought Khan won the fight but the decision is OK as it was very close. Khan also got a point for the KD when I thought both of them were trips. There were times when he was also literally running away from Peterson as he has absolutely no inside game whatsoever.... That's a big no-no when facing a home fighter.
Khan still think he's in the amatuers....this is the pros man; when you lose a very close controversial decision, you dominate the rematch, thereby winning a greater fan base.
LOL....Khan is so delusional...he is acting like it is a foregone conclusion that he will get the decision. He'll give Peterson a rematch? How nice, where was that mindset after the Prescott fight?
What Peterson gets to keep the belts and he say's forget a rematch with Khan...what happens then...still landing that Mayweather fight?
Take your loss like a man Khan. It was a good close fight that could have gone either way. If you scored it 6-6, or 7-5 either way it was fine, take off the 2 points for pushing and the bullsh*t knockdown fine. It was still was a good close fight that could have gone either way. If you judged it anything more than that than you're in the minority. Schaeffer, Khan and the rest of the Golden Boy crew are all pissed because the fight wasn't stacked in their superstars (Khan) favor like it typically is. They thought Amir would handle business no matter where the fight was or who the ref was and they were dead wrong. I didn't see Schaeffer or Oscar protesting for Maidana when Cortez took a bullsh*t point, was breaking any inside action, and saved Khan from being KTFO in the 10th. "I'll give Peterson a rematch", what a crock of sh*t Amir!
There's no way this will get overturned and if it does, it will be a complete joke.
I thought Khan won but the fight was close and could of went either way.
Unforenately for Khan, it went Peterson's way.
Sad to watch a grown man acting like a spoiled kid. Fair or NOT, take it like a man for once, fight for the rematch and try to beat Peterson like a man.
i dont understand these twats its ok for bertnard hopkins to appeal and get it granted and no one says anything but when its khan you all jumping on his back the ref was from dc **** me what more you want like bernard hopkins said in dc before you get in the ring your 2points down end off
The ref is from Virginia, and all the Judges are from out of state. In MY opinion, the ref did a GOOD job, tapped when they were holding and called to continue fighting, and should have taken points for straight arm, you could say Strong Arm, pushing, as well as pushing head down, and holding head whilst punching as wll as hitting on the break. I think the 12th rd point was for hitting on the break. I saw Khan take a quick look at where the ref was before he threw that upercut.
Oh yes, I forgot using his elbow far too much. In fact much of Khan's training at the Wild card seems to have- included fouls a fighter can get away with. His problem was, that he used them far too much.
Good, hopefully justice will be done. The decision was a joke as were the points taken away. even with the points taken, Khan won that fight
do the right thing bosses, declare the fight void, sure biased yanks will cry about it but even they know their man peterson lost that fight
khan gives peterson the opportunity of a lifetime. . . the referee and judges steal the fight from khan. .
Ug you are beginning to sound like The Devil. Peterson won that fight even without the 2 points, and the KD was a fake, as well. We can't always agree it's true, but facts are facts. That constant thudding, heavy, unremitting body attack was the best I've seen for years. Khan'a mostly pitter-patting combinations didn't compare. All credit to Khan that he didn't fold under it, but they way he fought reminded me of nothing more than Oscar's last 4-5 rounds against Trinidad. In places, Peterson had to run after him.
And in one place that fool Lampley was in ecstacies ove a "4 punch combo by Kahn", when in fact it was a solid 4 punch body combo by Peterson. There were a few others too but that was the most noticeable.
i find it a bit disturbing that khan doesn't want to realize he lost the fight. in boxing only cowards fight outside of the ring. i hope khan is not becoming one of them.
many felt - i among them - that khan is going to deliver a shutout against peterson. but peterson proved much better prepared, and khan has only himself to blame. i think it would be best for him to go out of the public for a month or two, and put his act together for the rematch. khan's cred is going to be won or lost in the ring - his calling out floyd has only made him look bad now.
Khan
I'm a neutral fan when it comes to Khan , any unbiased fan could see that khan won that fight . I'm not a fan of how he fought but he did fight his heart out as well when needed .. Cmon u don't take points for the pushing when the fight is that entertaining it was bogus , Lamont to me wasn't busy enough , he had some huge rounds but I only gave him 5 rounds at best
