ummm..... not sure about that. When it became obvious that trading with Peterson was not working, he stopped, but I dunno if you can call that an adjustment..... more like, he stopped playing into Peterson's hands. When Peterson changed up and started to come forward, Khan was forced to react. Khan reacted, more than adjusted, imho. Moving, because someone is punching you in the face is not adapting, it is reacting. I can dig this as well,lol...

His main adjustment was that he started circling and trying to move in and out with fast combinations, and he stopped trying to put so much leverage into each punch. He also stopped the macho trading when cornered that he'd tried earlier on, which he'd always come out of the loser. Ok I can dig it..

Khan dont need the rematch he could move up to 147. Ortiz v. Khan would be a hell of a fight.

I agree that styles make fights,but Peterson fights the same way he always has fought..There is nothing different,the thing to notice is Bradley and Peterson can make adjustments threw out a fight,I don't know if Khan can.. Backfire on Peterson? That's funny. Everything has backfired on Khan. Peterson is on top of the world and holds all the cards. Anyone who thinks Arum won't pay Peterson as much to fight Bradley as he would make fighting Khan is nuts. Arum will put the fight on a PPV undercard and give both guys more money than they would make against Khan. People need to realize that the paydays that HBO has been giving Khan have been "investments" and not something that Khan has earned by being wildly popular. They overpaid him so they could sign him because they saw a potential star. The hope was that down the road Khan would be a p4p star and help HBO and GBP recoup their losses on his early fights. Now the investment has sh*t the bed and he isn't worth anywhere near the purses that have been offered. I don't think Team Khan even cares about the titles for any reason other than the ability they give them to lowball potential opposition to avoid fights. Team Khan and his fans are so stupid when it comes to saying things like "he gave Peterson a chance so Peterson should return the favor." Really? He gave him a chance huh? Peterson was the mandatory challenger, he earned the fight, nobody did him any favors. Peterson can do what he wants but realistically, if he has any pride or self-respect, he'll do the rematch. Fighting Bradley first could hardly be called a duck. Bradley is a tougher opponent than Khan right now.

Khan needs to forget about Peterson, especially now that Peterson has express his reluctance for a rematch. Sometimes having the satisfaction of being ducked is enough in boxing. It also shows Peterson lacked confidence in beating Khan in a rematch. Let's just assume that Peterson will lose again in another Khan fight. :usa2:

Boxing is a business as well eaner, which you know. Khan has hype yes, but he also does a good interview, has some exciting fights and does appeal to a bigger audience than anyone at 140. Heck even girls are into him. but it still doesn't garner the attention he once did while fighting in front of his UK fan base in the US IMO he is just another guy on HBO's rotation nothing more nothing less he has not turned out to be the draw GBP thought he would at this moment. Losing to Peterson did not help his cause. Whining about it after soured it IMO

Khan should give him a week to decide and then withdraw the offer. Peterson aint getting near 7 figures fighting anyone else. Khan on the other hand will fight for a world title in his next fight with or without Peterson. well he got 650 to fight Khan so I would say his value goes up after this win and your last sentence is all the reason in the world why they're being smart and weighing their options Khan's hype (yes hype because he has done little in the US to warrant his price tag) has gotten him to the point that good bad or indifferent he will fight again on major US TV.
