I remember I made a thread about a year and half ago about juniors chances of making it back to the top and the result was not just negative but somewhat personal in terms of ppl getting pissed of which is like w/e I brushed it off.
So today I was talking to one of my buddies about boxing and I said I like junior witters switch hitting style even though his not like naseem he has a pretty good right uppercut as an orthodox boxer and he went off on how junior witter is pure GARBAGE and how he only got good because he was a young guy with good releflexis other then that he is pure shait...:(
I am wondering...does witter have some sort of a shady past that sways ppls interest????
whitter's style is what's wrong with modern boxing.
christ that **** pisses me off
it's like he's trying to be a punk in there.
trying his hardest with what was considerable talent, and training to be a punk
pisses me off
never saw him fight corely, at least on memory
of course it wouldnt be the last time i saw a boring fight and forgot about it!
i always love the awkward "ok, we're both counterpunchers... im going to stand still and hope you open up." All them Ingle fighters are diicks with horrible styles.... Not a fan of Dominic Ingle in particular, meant to be a real hard on!
Oh the fight was boring but you would remember the stand off buddy - EPIC Awkwardness, neither guy even twitched a muscle while just standing in ridiculous poses for a good 20 seconds......Cringey! :ugh:
Witter was always my least favourite fighter, (Calzaghe aside of course) at one point his very existence offended me.
His voice goes right through me, his attitude pissed me off, his style was horrible ect ect ect.......
I will say though that for a while he was a very good and very dangerous fighter. Shame Witter vs Hatton never happened.
Hey anyone remember THE Ultimate awkward stand off between Junnior and Chop Chop Corley? Fukkers stood like statues mid fight for at least 20 seconds - truly awkward

look at these stupid fuccking morons giggling together, and trashing this guy witter over a picture that obviously aint his
look at the cheap ms paint on that ****... thats obviously some shiitty mspaintjob that some loser did to pass himself off as junior witter on myspace
thats obviously a myspace 'thanks 4 the add' picture.... and i guarantee you junior witter had nothing to do with the sad piece of shiit making an account and passing himself off as a world champion on myspace
but of course, the stupid fucckboy idiot mentality here is prevalent, and you have these two types of abortions laughing over some random persons attempt at a photoshop/fake account
Junior? That you?
Witter WAS good & in all likelihood he would have beaten Hattom if they ever fought. His problem was that he was a dangerous fighter without a fan base that could sell-out arenas on Hatton fashion so if he ever beat Hatton the promoters and money makers would stop cashing in. In a lot of ways he was like Herol Graham who Alan Minter ducked. More unfairly Witter continues to be criticised for his Zab Judah fight probably by many who never actually watched it. Witter was nowhere as bad in that fight as people claim. Unfortunately Witter's time has passed so if he is ever given another chase I would expect him to fail and his critics will say he was always a bum. For the record he was a World Champion and is deserving of respect.
Haha, yeah man. I thought the same thing. And you're right about his punches being tight and proper. I only meant that his defence and stance were not textbook boxing.
Like a Boss!

Good to know I am not the only fan, although I am a huge fan of naseem hamed which is funny cause there from the same gym...
I thought he was some drunk kung fu guy who learned kung fu in the ghettos but seriously I dont get why ppl say he has no fundementals he has great jab and footwork and his punches are proper boxing punches not like a brawling swinging punches

I liked his style too. It was unique and to see it lead to victories was entertaining. But wow, he definitely couldn't keep it up. His style was 100% reflexes and athleticism.
When I first saw him, I was convinced he was a martial artist who decided to go into boxing. Absolutely no fundamental boxing structure whatsoever. It was fun to watch as it was pretty weird. But he dropped off harder than any other 140lbs standout (Hatton, Judah, etc).

He's done as a fighter....He's not going to achieve anything as a fighter.
But, people don't like him cuz' of his shameful performance against Judah. And, some Hatton extremist fans don't like him cuz' Hatton ducked him.
What did he do againts judah? I didnt hear about that???

Sums it up. Dude was an obnoxious clown during his run. :haha:
Dude is a professional boxer, and lots of pro boxers have talked crap but it seems like he gets the charlie zelenoff treatment in terms of respect which is kinda sad...
