Do you guys actually believe he has the best chance to beat Floyd with his skills? Or is he a product of talking himself up and great hype because of his speed and size?
Is this the norm of Floyd's career? That the guy (Pacquiao, Ortiz, Castillo, Corrales, etc) who is perceived as a threat, fans find some way to write it off as an "expected to win".
What will they say about Khan to discredit Floyd?
I'd like to see Khan fight either Bradley or Alexander before he ever mentions Floyd's name again.
Bradley wont fight him, or even morales?
Khan has said he will move up to full welterweight. I just wish instead of constantly putting his name in with the Pacquiaos and Mayweathers, he would shut up, go ahead and fight the likes of Ortiz, Mosley, Berto etc, at full WW.
IMO if Khan was not trained by Roach, and alongside Pac, he would not talk so much.
he's a robotic one dimensional fighter with speed that has been pouncing on midgets since getting brutally knockedout by a guy his size. i give khan a one round chance.
That remains to be seen. He is an Olympian so he has the tools to win fights. You don't win medals in the Olympics by not knowing how to fight. His youth is what works for him. His speed and his power can be handled. Time being on Khan's side is his best advantage he has.
Nah, I barely give Khan a shot. Yeah, he's got some physical gifts. He also has little inside game, leaky defense, flawed footwork & balance, isn't effective moving backwards, isn't very accurate, and is sloppy. He fights more like a programmed robot than a fluid boxer who can adapt and think in the ring.
I'm not gonna hype up Khan as this guy who's a true threat to Mayweather, and then degrade Floyd if and when he picks Khan apart.
Unless Khan improves dramatically, or Floyd magically becomes a dog and ages 3 and a half years in the next 6 months, I won't think much of the matchup. Mayweather-Khan happening before Mayweather-Pacquiao would be just another instance of boxing fans getting ****ed without Vaseline.
I think he's good but he's David Haye'ing his way to a fight with Floyd. He will talk a lot in the next few fights and convince everyone that he will be Floyd's toughest fight. And like a lot of people thought about Haye, it will happen again, people will really believe Khan will be Mayweather's toughest fight. Khan will come up short though, probably win 3-4 rounds at best.
Nobody from 140-147 is a real big threat to Floyd IMO. You have to look at 154-Sergio Martinez to find some better match ups for Floyd, in terms of who will be the most competitive against him. So i'm not knocking Khan, it's just at 140-147 I don't think there's any one good enough to beat Floyd.
Does anyone remember may weather vs corrales?
How most picked corrales?
My point being why the hell do people here use there "opinion" of what would happen in a fight as there deciding factor in why a fight should not happen. Fights are fought in the ring.
I would love to see khan(who is elite btw) vs Mayweather.
Stylisticly I think this fight is very entertaining until may weather takes control I the middle rds.......but you never know. That's why I would like to see this fight
Also if khan is not ready for may weather supposidly who is?
Please answer that.
seems to be the going thing with these brit fighter! haye froch khan, its just the vibe they have TALK TALK TALK, yes they all possess some abilities but NONE are as good as they think they are!! but khan does have a pretty descent team around him. but hes still not elite by far!
khan and froch proves it tho....haye on the other hand is trash, he is all talk....just like floyd, all talk...

he has speed, thats a huge factor against a mayweather, but i need to see his power, he kinda faded against maidana, so i wanna see him destroy peterson before he gets a mayweather

First of all, shut up you twat.
To Business. Khan has the speed, the range, the height to beat Floyd.
Not the Brain.

Has Khan talked himself up as "The One" to beat Floyd? Or is he the real deal?
Did Haye talk himself up as "The One" to beat a Klitschko? Or was he the real deal?
Seems all too familiar to me this does...
on one hand keep in mind even Manny was brutally KTFO several times early in his career, so was Wlad and alot of people seem to think if you're ever KTFO you can never be great. Khan was KTFO but that doesn't necessarily mean ****..
No, someone that's been KO'd can be great, but there will aways be a question mark about how they will react if they're hit with the right punch again.
I think he should just stop talking so much and fight. IMO he has not done anything to warrant a fight with the top guys. He needs some good experience fighting primed WWs, then maybe then, he can get a shot.
He will still get Knocked out, his chin is just to suspect for me.

Khan is more overrated than Cotto was, and the funny thing is he isn't even as good as Cotto was in his prime. He could barely beat Maidana and people think he can beat Floyd? Please. The dude needs to fight some guys like Alvarado, Rios, and Bradley (even though I know it aint Khan's fault that this fight aint happening). If he beats all those guys with no problem, then I say he deserves a shot at Floyd. But if he gets a shot at Floyd now, he is just getting it based off name recognition.
