Do you blame him, and how does it affect his legacy?
Do you blame Bob, and how does it affect Pac's legacy?
Do you blame Floyd, and does it affect Pac's legacy or do you give him a pass?
PAC's Legacy is already solid, he is the best Asian Fighter of All time, he is the "Chavez" to the Filipinos and the "Duran" to Asia and if both PAC & MAy retire today Manny will still rank higher than Floyd ...
IMHO if they do not fight it is Floyd's legacy that is more affected, as he wont pass Manny on the ATG list and would probably need a Martinez@160 or the winner of the Super Six type of victory to even make a run for it...
It will suck and it will suck bad but u can't blame the guy if he wants to retired. The fight was there but I guess bob paid Floyd to demand ost to roadblock this fight from happening. That dude arum is a sneaky old man.
So Team Floyd knew, with absolute certainty, that asking for blood tests would stop the fight from ever happening? You sure you want to put all your eggs in that basket?
Pac can retire now and still **** on Floyd resume. Pac by the age of 24 was a 3 divisions champ, 2 lineal champ and champ at the age of 19 while Floyd by the age of 24, smh. Fast forward to this day, Pac was an eight divisions champ, 4 lineal champ, p4p#1, 3x fighter of the year and Fighter of the Decade while Floyd, smh! No wonder, Pac said he doesnt need him resume wise and legacy wise. In popularity? its much worst. Pac is a congressman and popular products endorser like Nike, HP, Mc Donalds and many more while Floyd, smh.
I blame Bob Arum. Right now he's skillfully guiding the Pacquiao brand through the rocky shoals of doubt and uncertainty. But using Bob's usual guile he'll have the less astute among us blaming Floyd yet again for "ducking" the fight any second now. On second thought some folks just love to hate Floyd, so little persuasion or guile is called for.
Manny Pacquiao's legacy is intact without Floyd and the same goes for Floyd. Manny has a very dedicated fan base that he's earned over many wars with some HOF fighters. To sum up the totality of Manny's career based on one fight is very foolish, he's earned his place just by virtue of the conflicts he's been in.
It isn't fair to sum up a man's works like that, especially in relation to another man’s, it just isn't fair.
Personally I wouldn't care if Mayweather never fought again. He doesn't deserve the enormous money he gets, because there is little value given for it. As far as I am concerned, he's been in only 3 fights where he didn't virtually stink out the arena, against Augustus, Castillo 1 and De La Hoya. Each time he was forced to fight by the scrappy nature of his opponent.
There may have been a couple more but I likely didn't see them. I'd actually seen many of his earlier fights and had never taken much notice of him until Merchant, diring one of his fights said, "I don't know another technically god fighter, who can stink ot the place like Mayweather", and he pointed out that the arena was about 2/3rds empty and people were actually getting up and leaving during the fight. Merchant also mentioned that, and said that it happens in all his fights.
That was when I first paid any attention to him, or even remembered his name.
Yeah but....

What about the Manny questions he asked?

Pac and Arum were ready to make the fight before the Clottey fight. Pac had a better resume than floyd after the 3rd eric morales fight.
floyd will be ranked far below Pac when its all said and done with and even below JCC Jr and Calzaghe
yeah yeah...blame bob arum.....sure, you expect the public to be that dumb..lost to ricky not floyd...was floyd supposed to get credit for that?...
Let's be smart. How many Bob Arum fighters have been in a ring with Floyd since Floyd left Bob Arum? Not exactly a conspiracy theory any longer, it's all laid out for you. Even if it wasn't 100% Arum, the truth is somewhere in the middle.
As far as Tszyu? Would you have given Floyd credit for fighting him AFTER he lost to Hatton?
Interesting. Three of those fighter are under Bob Arum, and the fourth lost to Ricky Hatton- who Floyd later stopped.

tsu, cotto, margs , pacquiao... floyd has that rep homeboy, the reason why he gets sh1tted on all the time...
