i love these threads when some troll really thinks hes being clever when in reality hes just embarassing himself and exposing his own lack of boxing knowledge.
in most of the clips you show floyd is throwing punches and missing, any time you commit and miss a punch you give the other guy a chance to turn you. everyone misses sometimes so no matter how good you are at cutting the ring off there are gonna be times when you fail.
you have to look at the fight overall, and looking at the fight overall floyd did a good job of cutting the ring off against judah. most clips you show are from early in the fight too, we all know he struggled early just like we all know he came back to dominate. its shows his intelligence and ability to adapt, impressive if you ask me.
saying hes not slick bcuz he got hit by one punch is just immature, everyone gets hit. floyd still got hit far less than average in the judah fight. you can post a clip of any fighter in history getting hit.. pep, toney, locche, whitaker etc.. they all got hit, but they got his less than average so they were still brilliant defensive fighters as is floyd.
when you show these clips of mosley and judah tagging him, what you are really saying is "holy ****, floyd got hit!" well no ****, this is boxing everyone gets hit sometimes. that you get all worked up it shows how rarely he gets hit and how special a fighter he really is. nobody needs to go back like 5 fights to find spots where pacquiao, donaire, martinez, JMM and all these other top fighters look bad. they have bad moments far more often, so often ppl dont react. but with floyd ppl cant get over him being hit clean once back in like 2008.
stop crying,
judah is known for fading, zab is a fast fighter and a good counterpuncher, but he's very dumb and he had his most success when he took the iniative, if i wanted to show floyd getting hit as often as possible that would be alot of work
i left out alot of judah counter lefts and lead lefts, i wanted to put in the lefts that pacquiao(you know the guy that will get destroyed vs floyd) will land, jab jab(raise of the elbow from floyd), left down the shoot
that was the purpose of showing ortiz' only jab jab straight left despite him having no power or proper co-ordination with it, since, you know, he's not really left handed
and i thought it'd be funny to see floyd cutting off the ring vs a southpaw
because he reminded me of pacquiao mosley :lol1:
yes floyd is a defensive genius, yes floyd is a great counterpuncher
but he gon get fukked up vs the pac monster!! (insert native american battle cry here)
zab threw very few in that fight
and he showed signs of fatigue as early as the 3rd round and was stationary a good amount before his body got worked in the 4th, he would never have won that fight, weak body(khan destroyed it with a shot to the beltline, floyd visibly hurt him with one right to the body as he lay on the ropes) and wack stamina
i love these threads when some troll really thinks hes being clever when in reality hes just embarassing himself and exposing his own lack of boxing knowledge.

Funny how you show a gif of Floyd missing 2 punches in a row...
Pac missed 11 punches in a row against JMM loool.
Its funny how the second gif of the left hand punches from judah didn't even land.
Pactards are so desperate sometimes.
You aren't the only one that can play that game

If you watch that in super-slow motion, Pacquiao was actually dominating those exchanges.
floyd is just cherry picking fighters that makes him looks hood
he takes two years vacation to plan and pick the perfect opponent that keeps his 0 intact
You mean like facing a better, younger version of Marquez that just beat Pacquiao.
lol not really, I just enjoy winding up some of his fans who would have one believe, without any question whatsoever, that FMJ is God almighty himself. I hate those guys! :)
For my part, I acknowledge he is likely one of the greatest boxers to ever lace them up, even if he does like to tell everyone about it.
No, Floyd is not a god, I am not one of those morons. But, Floyd is the greatest boxer to lace them up, in his era, and the real fighter of the decade, sorry Manny.
People always like to say Floyd never fought anyone but Manny has fought all these beasts at Welterweight. But, how many fighters has Manny fought at 140 or above that had titles (WBA, WBC, WBO, IBF, RING, not the IBO which is what Hatton had going into the fight with Manny) going into the fight with him???? 1, Cotto, and he won his title over Michael Jennings. De La Hoya at 145, no title. Hatton at 140, had the IBO title, not one of the 5 major titles. Cotto had the WBO title after he beat Jennings. Clottey, had no title, hadn't even won a fight in 2 years. Margarito, had no title, that was a vacant 154 lb title at a CW of 150 lbs. Mosley, had no title after getting dominated by Floyd. Marquez, had no title at Welterweight.
Sure, you can critique Floyd's resume as well, but he's fought 6 fighters at 140 or above that had major titles going into the fights with him. Gatti, had the WBC title. Judah, had the IBF title. Baldomir, had the WBC and RING titles. De La Hoya, had the WBC title. Mosley, had the WBA title. Ortiz, had the WBC title.
So yeah, you can critique both fighters resumes, but Floyd does catch a lot of crap for no reason from his haters.
And people say Floyd ducked this guy or that guy, mainly Cotto and Margarito, but than refuse to say Manny ducked anyone. Also, Floyd and his camp had been calling out Cotto since 2006, to which Top Rank said "Cotto isn't ready for Floyd". Than, when Floyd announces he's done after Hatton, Cotto and Top Rank say Floyd is ducking. But, if you're going to say Floyd did that, than didn't Manny Pacquiao duck rematches with Barrera (4 years) and Marquez (4 years and 3 1/2 years)??? Also, didn't Manny avoid Raheem in 2006, after Raheem schooled Morales??? Didn't he do a nice job of avoiding Guzman in 2008, who was unbeaten, one of the top contenders at the time??? Or how about Mosley in 2009 and 2010, when Shane was coming off KO wins over Mayorga and Margarito??? Or how about Berto in 2010, when Andre was unbeaten??? Or how about Ortiz in 2011, when Victor was coming off his biggest win over a previously unbeaten Berto??? So, there are questions with everyone, that's all I am trying to say.
Manny and Floyd both catch a lot of heat for no reason at times. For instance, Marquez was NEVER robbed against Pacquiao. They were all close fights that could have gone either way, end of story.
Gotta love people that cling to ANYTHING and EVERYTHING to discredit someone.
Sure, Floyd may have a little trouble getting started against Southpaws, but so what??? After the first 3-4 rounds against Zab, Floyd dominated him and Zab was actually in his prime in 06'. After the first 2 rounds against Ortiz, Floyd was seperating himself from Ortiz, out-classed him in the 3rd and was out-classing him in the 4th, until the headbutt. Even in the 4th, Mayweather landed like 22 punches to 9 for Ortiz. Oh...and at least Victor is in his prime. Maybe should post all the straight hands that Manny takes from Marquez, to show that Manny has no trouble with guys that actually box, and don't come straight forward for the kill. That would definitely be a fair thing to do to Manny, right???
Why don't you post the results, or even the punch stats to both of these fights???? I will.
Mayweather-Judah Scorecards: 116-112, 117-111, 119-109, all for Mayweather.
Mayweather-Judah Punch stats: Floyd was 188/404 (44%) and Zab was 82/444 (18%).
Mayweather-Ortiz Scorecards at stoppage: 30-27, 30-27, 29-28, all for Mayweather.
Mayweather-Ortiz Punch stats: Floyd was 73/208 (35%) and Victor was 26/148 (18%).
Floyd was even out-working Ortiz and throwing more.

lol ur lying. ur a butthurt loser who still cant get over hatton getting spanked by floyd. hate isnt the world. obsessed is more like it. dont lie to yourself kid.
Picking the Judah fight as a fight to convince people Floyd can't cut off the ring was just a poor choice. He did a great job stalking Judah and breaking him down, and would have stopped Judah if not for the foul and the ruckus it caused.
Lol, you really hate Floyd huh?

Let's be honest, he can hardly be expected to be good at cutting off the ring when he's the one who has spent a career running away forcing others to cut it off.
