yeah clottey (5th best ww) was the best option for pac during that time. pac had already beat cotto who i think was the 2nd best ww at that time, the mayweather negotiations fell through, and mosley was still signed to fight andre berto. people just ***** about that clottey fight because of how poorly clottey performed and because he wasn't mayweather. They sh*t on it because he walked away from a Floyd fight to fight someone no one cared about. That's why.

it is pretty funny to think the most meaningful win Cotto has had since the Pac loss was over Yuri Foreman. and that win is looking worse day by day, after how he got easily manhandled by Wolak and then Delvin Rodriguez went on to beat up Wolak pretty bad.

Cotto was less deserving the first time they fought, as he just beat Jennings and barely survived against Clottey. Im a cotto fan but i think the fight will have the same outcome.

TBH I applaud Cotto for wanting to avenge his other loss - something people dog on Khan for not doing. However, I don't like how nowadays fighters seem to all want to wait for a fight vs Pac or Mayweather to fall into their lap and start to avoid taking on the high ranked guys in their division.

I wouldnt mind seeing this fight. Seeing Cotto run for his life from a superior fighter is always entertaining.

those names u mention didnt get a rematch, cotto already fought pac once just like those names u mention. should clottey get a rematch also?? None of those were a champion at the time that Pacquiao fought them. Also, none of those did better than Cotto. Cotto actually was fighting good for the first 4 rounds.
