yeah cotto won, not as vengeful as most boxing fans expected though. remember how he lost to marg? a sweet retribution would have been if cotto knocked out marg or made marg quit. just look at the way marg reacted when the fight was stopped. he was still in there pleading to get back into the fight. yeah if you only go by the records, definitely cotto got back at marg. but if youre deep into the history,rivalry,sensationalism and drama of those two, you'd want a brutal stoppage. nothing can be taken away from cotto with the strategy he executed, simply because he got his goal(s). the same can be said for margarito, contesting to be back in the fight even though the scorecards and his own body is against him. heart of a warrior. utmost respect to both fighters, yes ! both. because of what they've shown on their match. regardless of what happened before this fight.

How was it an ownage? It was a win but by no means revenge, Cotto didn't even slow Margarito down. This fight was getting interesting I don't care if Margarito would have lost the 12rd decision but why not let it go to distance? That's what really dissapointed me. By no means am I dissapointed with Tony by the way he gave it his all and he proved he's still a bad ass man.
