The obvious opponent for RIos should be Bradley.
Bradley hasn't really been doing anything at all, Rios would be an interesting fight.
But I think Arum and all parties involved won't want the fight.
It makes too much sense for Arum to make

The most overrated boxer right now... he has zero defense and he's always right infront you, he's another Vargas waiting to happen... Let me know when he fights some real competition
bull****. vargas was plenty skilled. and how is he overrated?
Was acosta not competition enough?
I don't understand the Rios hate. He's a come forward inside fighter, he's good for the sport. No one is overrating him. No one is asking like he's some boxing genius. The fact is, he's one of if not the most effective pressure fighter in the game right now. Good workrate, great attitude (won't back down), power, and creates some exciting fights.
He was tested heavily against Acosta who no one wanted to touch and he passed with flying colors. A great fight where he got hit by a serious puncher who also fights off teh back foot. We saw that there's no quit in the kid.
This^^^^100%. Obviously those talkin down on Rios have no idea who Acosta is and the skill set that he comes with. A serious puncher with either hand(he can drop a fighter with one punch), who can box off the back foot. Rios took Acosta's best shots and still imposed his will, and broke him down. To me Acosta is Bam Bam's best win.
Rios is a beast, the guy is climbing to the top already hate it or love it. The way I can tell is he's already got a ton of haters on here.
Rofl
Was Rios-Acosta not a great meaningful fight?
It certainly was at the time but sadly it was significantly diminished by Acosta losing. Acosta is still an top notch talent though
Was Rios-Acosta not a great meaningful fight?
that was a great win for Rios, I really wanted to see a fight with him and Marquez at light weight, but it looks like that wont happen anymore.

I think Miguel Vazquez embarrasses Rios. Wtf happened to that fight btw I thought Arum was going to make it happen?
Arum making a great and meaningful fight? lol will never happen
The long someone stands in front of Rios the worse off they are. The way to beat Rios is the way Acosta was fighting- but you also need a chin, which Acosta didn't have. Movement, power, and defense will take Rios down. The only guy, I think, that could stand and trade with Rios would be Maidana.
That is terrible, and Rios doesn´t even need to wind his punches.
My thoughts eactly. He's got some seriously heavy hands. the fact that he was so drained actually made things worse for Murray. I'd have prefered he came with full power if I was murray. Maybe he'd have been knocked down or out, or stopped sooner. Tough dude, big respect for him, he kept trucking.
LMAO....having padless gloves is better than tainted wraps? Taking hundreds of basically bare knuckle punches to the face will mess a person up just as bad.
he had pad less gloves AND plaster
