Both are about the same size so they can fight at a 147 or 154.
Ortiz vs Berto and Floyd 161 and 165
Cotto vs Margo 161.
Great style match-up and could have big hype if Ortiz looks impressive vs Berto.
Who wins?
good fight, i think ortiz has a good chance against a past prime cotto, especially at 147. i accidently picked ortiz in the polls, but what the hell, WARTIZ! :headbang:
dont let the marg fight fool you..cotto was getting tired in the 9th we dont know what would of happened in the 3 more rounds...oriz is a pressure fighter with stamina..i see ortiz koing him badly
Sure we all know what would had happened...
Margie will turn into a Supper Saiyan and would finish Cotto in Round 10 by a super punch that would put Cotto in the seats.
Stop all these fantasy final rounds people it's depressing .:cool2:
I agree. His wins over Foreman, Mayorga, and now Marg really have people thinking he can beat any of these young, strong, powerful lions.
People like you so they will not insult you, but if I woulda said what you said, I woulda have been jumped since i'm a known Cotto "hater". But I just see it as me saying the truth rather than hating.
sry to burst ur bubble buddy but an OPINION is NOT the TRUTH/FACT!!! im just sayin lol
Ortiz is not really a southpaw he is a converted southpaw with a weak left hand . On top of that he doesn't move like a southpaw like the way manny does. People think that victor is nanny lol
I think Cotto looks to be in great shape. I thought he was in the twilight years. I just think he needed the motivation and training nessary to get back to top form.
He right out-side his prime right now. Kinda like Pac and Floyd. Not saying he's as good.
dont let the marg fight fool you..cotto was getting tired in the 9th we dont know what would of happened in the 3 more rounds...oriz is a pressure fighter with stamina..i see ortiz koing him badly
what victor ortiz are you referring to, sir?
I think the pro Cotto fans don't want to admit that this isn't the same guy we saw in 2007, 2008.
Cotto is the better fighter than Ortiz when it comes to resume, there's no doubt about that.
I personally think this is a tough fight for Cotto because Ortiz is younger, stronger and faster. Not saying Cotto's boxing would be a great help to him but this wouldn't be a slow margarito standing there to get hit.
Ortiz can move and his left hand comes fast, real fast. He's also a very good inside fighter and his right hook is deadly.
I wouldn't be surprised if Cotto won but I also think most Cotto fans don't want to admit that Ortiz could hurt Cotto and possibly put him away if he did.
Cuauhtétard doesn't know sh*t about boxing
Ortiz onl fights in spots. Him and Berto match up well cause of that. Cotto has skills and a stiff jab, if in-active he is going to stalk you and attack
Got to have to go with Cotto on this one but it would be a fight that I would like to see
dont let the marg fight fool you..cotto was getting tired in the 9th we dont know what would of happened in the 3 more rounds...oriz is a pressure fighter with stamina..i see ortiz koing him badly
Ortiz is not a pressure fighter.
He pressures in spots.
He's a boxer-puncher at heart.
