Too soon to tell whats next. Most likely a fight in Mexico. But Mares wants Jorge Arce in the near future. He told me before the Agbeko fight.

Wasn't Wilfredo Vaquez Jr a top 10 guy when Arce beat him? During a down period at 122, sure. But he was hardly regarded as upper echelon stuff. Arce beating him said more about where he wasn't. Good win but nothing special.

seriously , i cant think of a top fighter he has beaten. He's fun to watch as he likes blocking punches with his face. Yosam Choi was a very good win at 108. He's had other solids (Hussein, WV2). But his drawing power has masked how badly he's been beaten by A quality talent (with the exception of a Carbajal he was beating until he wasn't in Littles Hands' last fight)

Maybe he can fight Angky Angkotta in a few more divisions. It's the biggest joke imaginable. seriously , i cant think of a top fighter he has beaten. He's fun to watch as he likes blocking punches with his face.

Thanks Frankie. Arce's a good payday at those weights. If Mares can get it more power to him. It's a high profile walkover for him. Arce hasn't beaten a serious top guy since, what 108 lbs.? Mares is a serious top guy. Wasn't Wilfredo Vaquez Jr a top 10 guy when Arce beat him?
