Possible 140 opponents for Rios

Rios could give Khan/Bradley/Maidana issues because of how persistent he is. However, I could see a disciplined Khan out-boxing him, Bradley head-butting him lol, and Maidana could wind up out-willing Rios. In all fairness to Bradley, I would have him as a slight favorite. I seriously, seriously doubt it. Khan is too fast and too rangy. He'd just pop 1-2s all day, keeping Rios on the outside. Add the speed, he'd get blitzed, eating 3-5 shots at a time before even thinking about responding. Rios is a plodder, he'd get popped and moved by Khan. Maidana is probably the most winnable. Maidana is just a slugger. It'd be a brawl between the two. But I doubt Rios could honestly take all that punishment and come out on top on the cards. Bradley fights the same exact way as Rios but better. They'll both be in the phone booth with that ugly high guard and hunched over like they are trying to hold a turd in. Difference is, Bradley will land more. Albeit charmin extra soft punches. He'll land more because he aims more for openings while Rios will throw punches regardless of if it hits gloves or not. Honestly. I see Rios losing to all 3. Khan would completely own him. Maidana is probably his best bet.

Dulorme beats the **** out of Rios who is a sucker for the right hand which is dulormes best punch the guy needs to get some more fights under his belt against better opposition, he may well be a future force but until we see him in with a half decent opponent we wont know

It's funny to hear this crap over and over and over...never gets old. Though he may not always finish his opponents, he's been able to hurt and drop most of them. Although I would expect Rios to be more durable and stronger at 140, I can definitely see Bradley hurting Rios. To be honest i would be very surprised if Bradley even accepted a fight with Rios,

Alvarado seems one of the most obvious options. If Bradley doesn't move up to 147 permanently, I'm sure he'd be an option also.

I see Rios having a tough time against the top 140 guys. Even Bradley. I think Rios plays right into the skill set of the top 3 140 guys. Khan, Maidana, and even Bradley. I think he would lose to all of them. The only one that is a mismatch is Khan though. I think Khan would run away with a W. Completely out-matching Rios.
