It's not a crack - it's a piece of black string. Either way, if Margarito loaded his wraps, it wouldn't be visible to the naked eye from outside the wraps. That would more or less be the idea in trying to conceal something like that from being spotted by the other trainer or the officials in the dressing room. The same principle would be an internal injury vs. external injury. Try to use a little common sense with this.
