Could DLH have been behind the Margarito scandal??

Shane was a 4-1 underdog and his struggle with Mayorga was at 154, which explains that more than anything. I honestly don't see how Oscar would even think of such a plan he probably has so much other more important stuff to be doing than planting wraps... I also think that whole excuse of "the wraps were on the table already" is absolutely shocking! What sort of experienced trainer would pick up some random wraps that were on the table and start wrapping their guys hands? Come on now! Coming into such a huge fight who would be that dumb? and to not scrutinise those wraps also? No chance!! Oscar was just trying to cherry pick Cotto that's all there is to it IMO.

He mentioned a few times that he wanted his last hoorah to be against the Puerto Rican in Dec. of '08. Cotto came up short and lost in a BRUTAL WAR at the hands of Antonio Margarito, and Margarito wanted De la Hoya to live up to his promise and fight the winner, him. The issue became apparent when De la Hoya claimed, he never said he'd fight the winner, but he'd fight Cotto once he won. Which was also true. Antonio Margarito grew bitter that De la Hoya wouldn't give him a shot to become a "Superstar". He began calling De la Hoya a coward, a woman, and among other names about his cross dressing pictures as well. De la Hoya stayed quiet and never really commented on Margarito's slander. Next thing you know, Margarito is scheduled to fight De la Hoya's right-hand-man, Shane Mosley. Shane Mosley was a 2-1 underdog. He was coming from an impressive KO victory over the loud-mouth Mayorga, with whom he struggled. Mosley was actually losing on one card and winning by merely one point on another. With that said, him being an underdog against Margarito was no surprise. lol...^^ My weak ass attempt at making an interesting article..anyways real talk. Could DLH have put something in the room, or the handwraps appointed to Margarito?..Is De la Hoya really the most honest person in the sport?.. I'm trying to make sense of this entire thing still, and for Margarito to risk it all for one night of glory seems really dumb. It wouldn't have been his biggest night of glory neither. It was the "past prime" Mosley that looked like sh!t, until the KO came, against Mayorga. I just wouldn't put it past DLH for doing something that low. His silence when Margarito kept calling him out was weird, and him avoiding Margarito was even weirder...it would've been a huge fight in the Mexican community and would have sold very well on the PPV scales. I know this will turn to a flame war, or a that I'm a traitor, etc. fact is, Cotto is and will always be my favorite boxer (of my times). But, I don't think it's fair to anyone else who may be keeping it 100% honest and has no way of actually proving their innocence. I may be feeling some sort of pity toward Margarito and Capetillo, only because I know what DLH has the power and money to do. I guess, we'll never really know the whole truth, we'll just speculate forever. One thing that is for sure tho, is that, even tho both are past their best, If Margarito doesn't come even remotely close to hurting Cotto or beating him in a similar fashion that he did the first time, he'll be losing A LOT of respect from the Boxing World. I think he just wanted to sort of "pass on the torch" to Cotto rather than to Margarito, maybe he thought he was more super star material? He really had no interest in Margarito and after watching him nearly murder Cotto in their fight I don't blame him for wanting no parts of him. So he fought the smaller Pacquiao and took a few shots, called it a day, and said "here's the PPV torch bro, I got some coke to sniff and I'm going to check out the new Victoria Secret line up for this year. I hated that he seemed pleased to administer more punishment to a guy who did nothing to him personally. Cotto has not shown much mercy either (this is where I give Pacquiao big props, because he carried margarito), but he never seems to relish his business in the ring. And if I am right, margarito is a sociopath and that is not something to emulate, celebrate or admire, it's something to despise. But I get the compassion thing. It shows your humanity. Very good post. Not only is DLH guilty for this scandal, but he is guilty for many many more. I have been telling this people I know are boxing fans and everybody said I was crazy. DLH-I give him credit for what he has done in the ring, but otherwise......this guy is the dirtiest piece of **** in boxing. Well, supposing he knew how to fight Margarito, I don't know why he wouldn't have. He could've had a fight with him at 154 and made a killing, but a lot of people say that ODLH didn't fight Margarito because he'd just alienate Mexicans from him even more. That's just my guess, though. It contradicts the business logic and future of business logic...I mean, if he had made the fight with Tony, he was going to make a huge PPV fight. If he beat Margarito, he would probably take out one of Arum's cash cows. It made no sense for him to NOT take that fight. I wonder he was just willing to show up for a payday as a stepping stone and make big money in future fights by matching fighters in his stable against Margarito, kind of like how he got Hatton in there with Pacquiao. This is all speculation, though.
