Who showed the better chin?

Vitali vs Zeljko Mavrovic would of been a great fight to watch. Had they fought in 1998, based on both their performances against Lewis, I think Mavrovich decisions Vitaly.

I saw Mavrovic vs Lewis live, I was like 9 years old. I couldn't believe the amount of punishment he took in that fight, I was getting mad because I wanted to see a KO. :grumpy: Mavrovich seemed like he could have been a legitimate tough guy had illness not derailed his career. Geez he took some serious bombs from Lewis!! Vitaly took some good shots, but not nearly that many, that cleanly while giving up 30lbs plus to an all time great puncher and heavyweight.

He had an illness. I think he's okay now though. Thats to bad. Seems he was being brought along the right way before getting Lewis, and looked decent enough. Would have probably been one of the better contenders of the early to late 2000's and would have added that element of excitement with his ability to absorb punishment.

Why did Mavrovich stop fighting? I'd figure he could have parlayed that gutsy loss into a couple more paydays anyway. He had an illness. I think he's okay now though.
