If he seriously gets hurt and has to quit boxing will you take care of him and pay his bills? The truth is if your getting you a** kicked like Margarito was against Pacquiao there was no point to continue fighting it was a stupid decision that might hunt him for the rest of his life.
Funny thing is, Cotto did the exact same thing v Pac, just because everyone said he quit v Margarito
Margarito is a boss, he is a real MAN. Cotto is a punk ass puto quitter. Just look at faceoff/24/7
Cotto: Well, I want to live healthy and my kids bla bla (Basically saying he will take a knee again if he gets pressured)
Margarito : I WILL DIE IN THE RING
I used to like Cotto, but now he is just a puto. Maybe PR is happy with Quitters
Does a real man have to load his gloves in a fight to win?
Maybe the mexicans are happy with cheaters?!?
easy to be a beast when somebody stands right in front of you and does not move their head. Also helps they're slow as if they were walking in mud.
how many fighters have looked like a beast versus margarito? IMHO, not that easy, aside from Pac only Mosley looked to be a beast ...
Thats some job Pac did on him. That what happens when you are too dumb not to know when to stop. Even his corner could had saved him from this
IMHO its more of the corner's fault than margarito himself ...
Margarito is a dumb fighter, but I have to give it to him I like seeing him fight but he is going to end up brain dead and his wife will be having fun with his hard earn money.lol
damn...looks fake as, warrior he is but he's dumb as hell to continue.
Just imagine if that eye really is fake and pops out after getting tagged.
Cortez should ref, he'd give the wtf look like he did in the Ortiz Money fight.
What an ignorant thread author. Are you uneducated? Do you not know that the human body often goes through visible physical changes when building scar tissue? Of course his eye looks different he got his orbital bone shattered. Does that mean his body can't recover fully and become strong again? Absolutely not. Meaningless thread.
he's lucky PAC took pity on him in the later rounds of their fight. Pac just kept looking at the ref wondering why wasn't he stopping the fight and he(the ref) should have, or his corner stop it at the very least. Unnecessary damage which will potentially leave him blind in the long run. On top of that taking this fight after it...
I'm not gonna' say anything bad about Margarito because the fact of the matter is, I was looking forward to him defending the title after the upset over Cotto. Ever since then, I just feel bad for him. No lie. His career took a major hit.
But anyway, in contribution to this topic...

I have no idea what you mean by focussing on Margarito's RIGHT eye. It looks as normal as any eye I've ever seen. What do YOU see wrong with it. Please tell in plain English without 4 letter expletives.
Like many millions of others his LEFT eye is a little less open than his right eye. Very very common, I have the same thing myself and there's nothing wrong with my eyes.
Fractured orbital bones, are just bones like every other bone. They HEAL, and where they knit, they become actually stronger than the normal, unbroken bone. A well known medical fact, because of the body's defence mechanisms.
As for the cateract operation and the naturally following artificial lens implantation, this is a naturally occurring eye event. Usually it happens gradually, and to older people, but sometimes to younger folks too. The simple op takes less than 30 minutes, only local anasthetic, needs no stitches, and a few hours with an eyeshade and a week or so with antibiotic eyedrops against infection, and the patient is set to go.
There was no connection between the broken bone and the cateract. Since Margarito has for years had eye problems and worn normal glasses, they just decided to do both surgeries around the same time, when he needed all that time off to recover.
Why make a conspiracy about it??

Well, I looked, feeling foolish. What was I supposed to see? That the eye was looking back? Or winking at me ..or WHAT??
At least you could have instructed which eye to look at.
The right eye man.... thats the one he got a surgery on and now has a glass eye.
