You dont box because if you did you would know that you take the gauze pad set it aside over night it does become firm every single fighter who has used "Gauze" knows this. Now you do have people that come to the gym and have regular wraps from stores such as Big 5, the colored ones such as red or blue, when you unwrap those its just one piece but even with those if you hang them out to dry they to get a little crunchy its a fact~

Thats because he did not have loaded wraps for the mosley bout neither, he had a old pad that was either used from the Cotto fight or in the gym and when you set those pads aside after using them over night they get hard. I dont think anyone remembers that Cotto's nose busted bad in round 2. He was fighting till round 11 with a busted nose that hinder his stamina greatly i would imagine. Going to the ropes didnt help either, but i believe the shots that Cotto took seeing his face was abnormal. You ever get hit with leather with plaster built in? You'll swell up like crazy. I never seen that unless a speed guy just chops someones face but you can still tell the difference.

He ate alot of hard straight rights and uppercuts from mosley, ate some hard uppercuts from judah, the rest of his competition im not gonna count as hard punchers....except malignaggi :) lol But ya, he ate alot of hard shots from mosley, yet had little to zero swelling after the fight, just a small cut on his brow. Its all anecdotal evidence, i dont think we will ever know, but what i am pretty sure of is dec 3 is gonna be a bright spot for boxing, its gonna be a battle. research whats in plaster paris, what they found in the wraps was sulfar & Calcium that is found in glue, which if the wrap was tapped as they say it was that tells you where those elements came from Whats in plaster paris sounds similar but its not its called Calcium Sulfate, its one element meaning their findings of Sulfur and calcium tend to lead you to think that its in plaster paris, however when you research whats in plaster paris you dont see that. Cottos face is pretty comparable in damage between the two fights, maybe a little worse in the pac fight. I had never seen cottos face swell like that prior to the marg fight, against other hard punchers. Maybe margs potentially loaded gloves messed cottos face over enough, that his face would react more and more to shots? You havent seen Cotto hit that much before neither

I agree, margs body work against cotto was awesome. But mosley, i do remember him landing quite a few hard right hands to cottos body, aswell has hard straight rights and uppercuts.
