Just watched the fight for the second time after not having seen it since Last Saturday. I at first thought Marquez won the fight easily but upon further review I think Marquez just barely won and may have even only earned a draw if you give Pac the benefit of the doubt. I had the fight 6 rounds to 5 for Marquez heading into the 12th round. The 12th round was hard to score because even though Pacquiao was throwing more punches he was hardly landing anything significant, if landing at all. When I score it for Marquez I have the fight 115 to 113 in his favor. When I score the round for Pacquiao I had the fight a draw.
So people need to stop yelling robbery because it was a razor close fight. It has to do with the amazingly high expectations for Pac that we expected him to blitz right through Marquez so when he struggled people became quick to write him off. I'll agree that Pac looked sloppy but he didn't exactly get dominated. What's your call guys?
Everyone got used to Manny dominating and gave ALL close rounds to Marquez LMAO i have yet to find a reasonable explanation round by round for 8-4 Marquez scorecard
8-4 is ridiculous for either of them
should have been a draw. would have been fairest decision for both guys IMO
When I first saw the fight I didn't score it, but I though Marquez was ahead by a little. Then the second time I watched the fight, I scored the fight a draw.......Yeah man - the fight was very close, which is why I have no idea why someone can say Marquez won convincingly.
Maybe the huge mexican crowd influenced us all a little bit during the first fight, who knows
I dont see why anyone would not see the fight as a close, even on the first viewing?
scores may change from second viewwing but it does not deviate from the fact that the fight and each rounds was close ...
its because they enjoyed the fight and didn't score it like what a normal judge will do.
pacquiao won 7-5 when i watched it last. so does a lot of people who watched it again thought the fight was a lot closer than they initially thought.
because it is a close fight that could have gone either way

Some people have a short memory and already changed their minds but the public know what happened .
Pacquiao didnt lose the number 1 spot for no reason .

No, I'm not but I know what guy you're talking about. I had the fight tied but if I had to give the edge to one fighter it would have been Marquez ut two points. But neither guy dominated the other that's for sure.
Thanks for the answers.
Are you the same guy with the Doctor Doom avatar?
Also, I gave the fight to Pacquiao 115-113 as well. In extreme fashion 116-112 as well for Pacquiao.
