Why are people saying "good fight"? Bradley seems to get a pass for being a complete puzzy on here.
First he fights a 40 year old stoner, now hes fighting a crackhead
Because it's a good fight. Paris is more skilled than Peterson.
Fine then, stop calling a man out and then jumping to another fight. **** like that is what ****s things up for mega fights.
As for tough guy, and what environment, WTF you on about. You think they need to go to the street? At the end of the day, Bradley got told to grow some balls, and he walked away. It don't matter where the **** it took place, it took place.
Bradley likes to walk away from Khan.
But you have no problem when Khan is talking about Brook being a possible opponent??No trouble bout him talking about May Ortiz Berto??Come on bro,so he can talk about potential fights but Bradley can't??LOL...
Alexander was OK, but most felt lost to Kotelnik and Bradley after a year of ducking finally fought him after he was pretty much exposed. Alexander in the Bradley fight *****ed out and Bradley wasn't too impressive. Again Matthyse exposed Alexander but again Alexander got the gift.
Please, Abregu who? Really?
Peterson was green when he fought Bradley, it was his first big fight and he even said he elarned a lot from it, thus not folding to Ortiz when he got dropped a few times. Plus they sparred a lot anyway. Bradley already knew Peterson's style from before.
The point is, if you are gonna call out a man, then fight him. Have plans to fight him, not already have plans for another guy.
Bradley called out Khan in June 2010, Khan said first time I hear him call my name, so let's do it. By April 2011 they still had the fight going on. Then Bradley at the last minute *****ed out. Whatever reasons people say, he was the one who backed out. Khan said never agai will he get a 50/50 offer.
Once again he calls out Khan with a 50/50, after Khan saying he is moving up to 147. Khan replies 70/30. Khan now has 2 titles and is regarded number 1. Khan had had a total of 3 3.5 million viewers in his fights on HBO. He sells more seats. He sells UK PPV.
Bradley sells way less seats, and has only a total of 2.1 million viewers on HBO.
YET, not a word from Bradley apart from it's a fight in the future. WTF that mean? 10 years?
At least say 60/40 or 50/50 my last offer, not let a man tell you to grow some balls and just walk away from it.
Not fair, everyone has options, why should Bradley be any different??
BTW wow Khan talked tough in controlled environment,he is really tough..LMAO..
It's alright, but Bradley is a proven big dog at 140. Huge step up for Paris, I doubt he'd be ready just like Peterson wasn't, even though he had a good showing.
Bradley needs to fight Khan, damn it. He'd beat him.
This mirrors my opinion on this subject,Bradley needs to fight Khan or at least attempt to..
Thats not my point, bradley needs to step it up. He just beat up a 40 year old guy who smoked Cannabis throughout his camp. Atleast fight a top 10........
Dudes been fighting top fighters. He has one tune-up fight because he was out for like 10 months. I mean the combined record of his last three opposition was 75-0 with one of them being a unifying match.
And Bradleys focus is on securing a fight with Pac.
If that means Arum tells Bradley to appear on a few undercards to build the fight, and then make it happen.. I'm sure Bradley will do whatever Arum wants him to do.
The guy made a remark that failed, because of the fighter Khan is currently fighting.
Stop going so deep into it.
Wasnt going deep into it. Your parallel failed. Simple as.
Paris has a lot of talent and really I like the way he punches much more so than Bradley.
Bradley has proven to be a tough cat in that ring though and I doubt Paris has the mentality to really go in there and just try to box him.
I think Paris looks good early then slowly gets dragged down losing clearly at the end.
Good post - I also really like Paris' skills and talent and agree on what you see in how he punches. I loved that last fight, both guys came to fight and the inside work was really skillful, especially from Vernon....there are not too many guys in boxing carrying on that style of fighting that seemed to be much more prevelant back in the 80's-early 90's.
I think Paris can get even better and I really wanted to see him fight Lamont Peterson after this Khan fight, not go straight into a Bradley fight...because I also agree with u on how u see it playing out. Peterson vs Paris would be another great inside fight and a more reasonable step up for Paris than Bradley.
And where that parallel fails is that Khan's first choice was Bradley.
Yes exactly, and bradley shud be fighting top 10 fighters not top 50 average sparring partners. Especially after he already fought a 40 year old stoner

And my point was, Khan is choosing to fight a guy Bradley already whooped.
I think we both got the point.

I think his point is that Bradley is choosing to fight one of Khan's sparring partners instead of Khan himself.
And my point was, Khan is choosing to fight a guy Bradley already whooped.

It is relevant because the poster I replied to thought that since the guy Bradley "might" fight, Khan got the better of him in sparring and knocked him down.
Whereas the guy Khan IS fighting, already got beaten and knocked down in a real fight by Bradley.
Don't take it personally.
I think his point is that Bradley is choosing to fight one of Khan's sparring partners instead of Khan himself.
