But why do you see that Pacquiao was REMOVED from #1 P4P and Floyd was put there? without even a fight. Do you think they can see how easy of a fight it would be for Floyd Mayweather, or how Pacquiao struggled or even got beat by Marquez? I think it's a move based completely on conjecture. Mayweather's last fights were against a shot Mosley whom Pacquiao beat even more impressively, and a 4 round fight with Ortiz that ended controversially. It's impossible to know how the fight would have completed down the stretch. I can understand the logic, but it's a huge decision. And in my opinion a rash and foolish one.

Anyone who isn't a blind, deaf, and dumb Pacquiao fan can easily deduce why this happened. Marquez was ranked #5 and Floyd #2, after the debacle last Saturday it was pretty clear that Marquez is a better boxer. Floyd made Marquez look like he was standing still, while Pacquiao's only salvation for winning that fight was a gift decision from the judges. Why would anyone rank Pacquiao ahead of Floyd when Pac looked so terrible? What?!? Pac should be ahead of Floyd because of the washed up fighters he's feasted on the last several years? That sort of reasoning is delusional at best and severely mentally ill at worst. In order to keep the top spot the P4P fighter has to consistently demonstrate his superiority over the rest of the field. The only thing Pac demonstrated last Saturday is that he doesn't belong in the top spot.
