after witnessing the pac-marquez fight who do you think has the best chance of beating mayweather? If anyone says marquez i'm gonna laugh my a** off. please go re-watch may-marquez and then vote if you are considering putting him.
EDIT: I forgot to provide an "other" option so just list those
I'm still saying Pacquiao. He's still the only fighter on that list that could make Floyd really uncomfortable. Maybe he gets his ass kicked, but we know Khan and Marquez get their ass kicked.
I really just don't think Martinez fights at the right rhythm to beat Floyd. I'd honestly expect Floyd to smack him with single shots all night and leave Martinez flustered.
I mean, if Oscar was able to bully around Floyd the way he did at 154lbs, Sergio would really put a hurting on him. He'd probably beat Floyd. But I don't even think that's a realistic fight for Floyd. It's asking too much to beat the top 160lber when you're fighting at 147lbs.
Plus Sergio's style would give him fits.
Size would definitely be a huge factor...a very good, live opponent with a huge size advantage would be a problem but I still think anybody from 154 n down gets the biz!!!
And for your comment about Oscar...Oscar was a lot bigger than Floyd and only wanted to let loose when he had May against the ropes...it's easy to rough someone up when thats 75% of your game plan!!
I still think if Pacquiao lands cleanly he could shake him up. You never know, things can happen. Only other option would be Sergio Martinez and that is because he is that much bigger than Mayweather Jr
I agee but going into a fight against Floyd hoping to land that perfect shot is a recipe for disaster!
Victor had his moment and proved to a bigger moron than we gave him credit for. He won't get another fight unless he does something miraculous in the next 2 years to even be mentioned again next to Mayweather
Man please
what have anyone one of those fighters mentioned done that is spectacular except martinez and the run he had
all victor has to do is beat berto again then beat khan and he is in
he has what it takes to do both
he has the speed the power and aggressiveness to beat floyd plus floyd will be older
floyd is beatable
and your man cotto has no shot at beating floyd none what so ever
Victor Ortiz will be the first one to beat mayweather either in the fall of next year or spring of 2013.

Not saying Cotto would win at this point, but Cotto would make it more competitive than Kahn and especially Marquez
And of those listed, I still give Pacquaio the better opportunity. He's just too fast and much power not to make it interesting. He will land hard blows. Martinez just gets tired. His best opportunity will be in the first half and then he'll tire out, wheres we've never seen Mayweather fatigued. I do not think that fight will be as competitive as many think.
Undecisive...I'd say Pacquaio>Martinez.........................Cotto>Everyone else
Hell, I think Antonio Margarito will give him more problems than almost anyone in the game today, even at this stage.
I don't think neither can but from that list I would go with Sergio
All have Flaws and Holes that Mayweather would EASILY PICK APART...EASY IMO!
All would only have a "PUNCHERS CHANCE"...and I guess with Pacquiao based on how their scored the JMM fight, people would be hoping that regardless of the poor Landing %, that a ton of punches would "GIVE PACQUIAO THE DECISION"...that is not going to happen against Mayweather especially in Vegas and especially when your throwing a Ton of Punches and only landing 20% of them while he is throwing less punches but landing 40-50% of Them
Accordng to the judges, it would be Manny. Apparently, He just has to throw more and be the aggressor and he should bag this fight. It doesn't matter how many times PBF will snap Pac's head back with the most accurate punching in history, the judges will still favour Manny's "come forward" style. Manny by controversial "Trinidad vs De la Hoya" decision.
Nope, more like Punisher-Lara,lol!!

Martinez would lose an embarrassing UD at 154 or 160.
Clearly the correct choice is Khan.
Yeah, ok guy, sure. Clearly the correct choice is Khan, riiiiiight.
