Simple. He has a much better chance of beating Marquez than Mayweather. Why fight Floyd last and retire on a defeat? He may as well take his L from Floyd next and then take his chances on retiring on a victory over Marquez.
That's a lie, they say that the fighter cheated by stepping on his foot.
All fans do that. Do you ever post on other message boards? I post on rivals.com (college football website) and the amount of excuse making for loses far exceeds anything I have ever seen on this site, regardless of the fan base.
Pactards wouldn't be that depressed. We've seen him lose before. You know what happens when someone beats Pacquiao? Us Pac fans respect that fighter.
Both Morales and Marquez had thousands of fans praise them when they went to the Philippines.
As a Pacquiao fan I don't care if he loses, and I'm sure a lot of other Pacquiao fans don't as well. We've seen him lose before and as a fan of many sports, teams and players......I've seen many of the my favorite athletes/teams lose in disappointing fashion.
It's really not that serious and one fight doesn't define a fighter. With that said, Manny beat Marquez 3 times IMO, and I still favor him over Floyd. Even if he were to lose, I really could care less.

It's not a lie at all. Pactards may make excuses, but they never go away. Pac lost to Morales, and his fans went no where. He arguably lost to Marquez twice, and they went no where. They aren't going anywhere after this fight, and they won't go away if Mayweather beats the crap out of him either.
I know I won't. I'll only stop being a Pacquiao fan if he doesn't get in the ring with Mayweather, and I'm pretty sure I represent most Pacquiao fans.

please post in master thread. . . read the rules before u make a thread. alll manny/floyd posts go in the master thread. i dont know why people keep maing new threads about this when CLEARLY the master thread labels where the discusion belongs. . .
like piglets to a sow's tit.
I couldnt help but laugh... Its obvious and hilarious why certain people would be bothered by your post slipstream.
I used to want the fight, but I don't anymore. I'd pitty Pacman for the 1 sided thrashing he would recieve & feel bad over the thousands of pactards that are gonna hang themselves & fear for Floyd's life as every other pactard that didn't commit suicide will be gunning for his head.

Manny should fight Khan and let him know that it is different fighting without
the head gear on.
He should fight Floyd next because it's the only way to regain the respect of all these people who lost it the last few days, and it's still the biggest fight in the sport.
Even if the newfound majority opinion that this is a mismatch is true, who wouldn't respect Pacquiao if he gives it his all against Mayweather? And what if he won or had an argument towards winning?
Just do it Pac.
There's no way in hell Bob Arum is going to put Manny in the same ring with Floyd Mayweather, it just isn't going to happen. I think Arum's calculus at this point, was to stop hiding the fact that he's protecting his fighter, in the hopes of milking him for all he's worth. Arum knows that the delusional Pacquiao fans don't care who he fights, or if he's on roids, or if cheats on his wife. What they seem to care about more than anything is the ridiculous hype of Manny being invincible, they cling to it like piglets to a sow's tit.
All indications are that Manny is utterly incompetent and can't manage his own affairs, as long as that's true, Arum will never give the fans what they want.
Exactly, I just think he is trying to avoid the inevitable for a final payday, but he has absolutely no chance of beating Floyd.
Yea... but he's already damaged the enthusiasm for a Mayweather fight by getting served this past weekend. If he takes a chance and loses to JMM he'll totally kill it. He better take the Mayweather fight now before he f**ks things up even more.
