Also, Per Kevin Iole:
All indications are that the Pacquiao-Marquez pay-per-view results are going to be very high. Don’t be shocked if the final number soars past 1.5 million. If it does, it would be the largest Pacquiao fight ever and the second-largest non-heavyweight pay-per-view of all-time, trailing only the 2007 De La Hoya-Mayweather bout. That match did 2.45 million.

The Cold War continues. 'Money' Pacquiao just might have the most buys all time when he retires. Crazy that a foreigner who speak sparse English could accomplish that.
" All you stupid ass Pacquiao fans that think this means anything other than another ****in excuse for Arum and Overrated Hypejob to duck fighting Floyd are damn fools. Watch these two mutha****as go public asking for a greater than 50% split to justify their outright *****assness. Arum and Hypejob's next move price themselves out."
The Truck
Let me get this straight. Pacquiao will beat Mayweather for the first or second time in PPV numbers and he'll suddenly become P4P king?
You people crack me up. How much has he generated over the past decade? How much has Mayweather generated? A 50/50 split is cool jusg to make the fight happen and give the boxing world what it wants and needs, but lets not get carried away.
Arum wants to hurt Mayweathers ego with PPV's but not match his fighter up with Mayweather either. Start the talks, Arum. May 5, Mayweather-Pacquiao!
Pacquiao Career PPV vs Floyds Career PPV

Mayweather made great PPV sales more so due to the opponent he was facing, De La Hoya, Ricky Hatton and Marquez, as well Ortiz. It wasnt Mayweather fans, it was boxing fans who paid to see these fights. Mayweather does not have any true fans.
lol...are you guy really that nervous pac would beat floyd in ppv #'s vs a common opponent this time and get the recognition as the NEW ppv king?...stop counting days flomos , this is inevitable..lol
Nervous about PPV numbers? Baracuda, you should really think before you post.
Personally, I hope Pacquiao-Marquez did monster numbers, it's good for the sport of boxing. But anything attached to Bob Arum is suspect and should be questioned, he's a liar.
In some ways I get kinda sad thinking about the numbers because it's just more money that Bob Arum can steal from Manny anyway. If Arum still owes Floyd millions imagine what he might owe Pacquiao?
They're still counting them. Fight did like 4 or 5 million homes, be patient.

Good Lord Arum this is getting pathetic. What were the official numbers for the Mosley fight again?

Bob just can't keep Floyd's name out of his mouth. F ck PPV #'s, if u really want to hurt Floyd's ego take his "0" away from him. Let Manny step up. Instead, you want to fight Marquez a 4th fight?
Bob Arum is a fraud. No1 is buying into him trashing Floyd anymore when it's obvious that they are ducking Floyd. I really hope Marquez ask for a 50/50 split of the purse and only accepts the fight if it is held in Mexico. If not, then he should tell Manny to f ck off!
ouch Manny's highest selling fight ever is the one fight he got exposed in
floyd's highest selling fight ever , he got away with split decision win....so hush flomo
Just like Pacquiao-Hatton and Pacquiao-Mosley were "on track" for 1.8 million.
Right?
BTW, how are those Pac-Mosley numbers coming along?
if this fight got more than 1.025 mil(floyd vs jmm), pac is the new ppv king.....

I heard from a Top Rank source that I'll leave unnamed, that this fight did more than the Mayweather-De la Hoya fight.
I think its going to do very well.

Do you ever say anything meaningful or add to a discussion?
i hope he releases the numbers this time, and if they are high. it just shows how ignorant certain boxing fans are. They bought into the pacquiao product, not the actual match up. but yeah, i'd buy a 4th fight, just to see marquez tap that ass again..
Now, how many times have they faught in a decade?
If Pacquiao has faught more than twice then leave the number game out of it. Both would do 1.1-1.3 million average every fight, right? So one more fight gor Floyd almost generates 10 million. So he has earned alot more over the past decade with less fights.
Pac fought 2x a year and still generate 1 million buys per fight. you cant say the same to Floyd. so its not a given that Floyd will generate 1 million buys if he were to fight twice a year. FACTS.. even Dela Hoya had never done what Pac has done in terms of ppv buys. Pac is the real PPV King.
