I'm not making this thread to debate about who won the fight between Marquez or Pacquiao. I'm making this thread because fighters from the same gyms/trainers usually have each other's backs. It was surprising to me that Amir Khan and Julio Cesar Chavez Jr would both go public about saying Marquez had won the 3rd fight with Pacquiao, when these guys often train together. Amir Khan went as far as suggesting that Manny Pacquiao should consider retirement. All 3 fighters are trained by Freddie Roach and conditioned by Ariza, you'd think they'd "publicly" have Manny's back for the sake of the team.
I just dont see this happening with fighters from other gyms/trainers such as Robert Garcia's fighters. Those guys seem to be pretty tight.
Thoughts?
Chavez Jr:
Amir Khan has Marquez winning by 2 points, and urges Manny Pacquiao to retire:

Amir Khan rewatched the Fight and he scored it for Manny Pacquiao 1 or 2 rounds for manny.
But the administrator deleted my thread I really don't know why..
For Chavez? please think again why he chose Marquez....
Thanks 4 the info on Khan. But after reading that it looks like some1 might have had a talk with him about his words. He's been very critical of Manny this year. Saying things like "Manny wont take the test, but I will" and so on.
Anyone who watched the UK stream you could hear Amir Khan wanted to vouch for his boy but he was getting so dominated he couldn't. He would say stuff like that was a nice jab by manny when it didn't do much as Marquez popped Manny with a right and an upper cut. He eventually broke down and agreed it was like Hamed vs Barrera
Well it's obvious Amir wants a shot at Mayweather. I didn't think he would crap on Manny like that but he did. It's easy to say that Chavez is going with Marquez because he's Mexican but I doubt that's the reason.
Marquez won that fight IMO. It was close but I felt Marquez was up 2 rounds. Pacquiao is still a great fighter but he isn't this god that some Pactards believe him to be.
I don't see why not for JCC jr...he's Mexican... so I think he cares more about what the Mexicans think than Roach... plus if he thinks Marquez won, why not voice your opinion.
