1Ray Robinson- at welter 9Sandy Saddler- junior lightweight
2Ray leonard- at welter 10Alexis Arguello- junior lightweight
3Thomas Hearns- at welter (DO YOU GUYS AGREE???)
4Aaron Pryor- at junior welter
5Henry Armstrong- at lightweight
6Roberto Duran- at lightweight
7Pernell Whitaker- at lightweight
8Oscar De La Hoya- at lightweight
I don't see Duran, Pryor, Armstrong, Arguello or De La Hoya beating him, let alone kicking his ass. Don't know much about Saddler.
The rest I can see beating him. But I don't see none of those "Kicking his ass".
Robinson and Leonard at welter, though he might be able to beat both, I'd favor them. Duran at LW would win. Hearns has a punchers chance, but he'd get beat.
Lets be fair to Mayweather. Leonard did not fight the strong 154 pound Tommy Hearns. He fought 144 weight drained Hearns who couldnt take a body shot, was weak.
Floyd vs 1981 Hearns. If he gets past the early rounds, i could see Floyd building up a rythym and pot shotting Tommy all fight long.
Leonard had problems with Larry Bonds and admitted Bonds movement gave him some trouble. He also had problems with Ayub Kalule
A boxer that can move, counterpunch is gonna give SRL problems. His speed was not the same when he had to punch a moving target.
Hey Pin,
Proportionality is what pound for pound is all about.
Just sayin'...
Puerto Rico is a small Island of 30 by 90 miles and in proportion has produced more Champions than anywhere in Earth.
Just sayin
Oscar owns Ring Magazine and this is an article He probably order to write.
I'm telling you'll Oscar is really evolving into this spoiled Mega betch.

Btw, Sugar x 2 Duran and probably Hearns get it done.
JCC would have kicked his ass at 130 or 135. Man was a beast in that weight. Jose Luis Castillo while a great fighter in his own right was a poor mans version of JCC. The tecniques that worked against floyd were the ones he learned from JCC himself.

moneymayallday..........
Hearns could punch, and box well. Mayweather would smartly pot shot and hold his way to victory. Hearns could land a punch to change the fight at anytime, but I'd put money on Floyd.
Sweet Pea NO WAY. Sweet Pea was GREAT defensively, but Floyd has better offense. Floyd would take the lead in this fight, and Whittaker wouldn't be active enough or counter enough to win on the cards.
De La Hoya?? Are we serious. Sweet Pea and Quartey gave him hell. Floyd (who threw insane combinations as a lightweight) would win the fight convincgly in a GREAT fight. De La Hoya was strong as hell as a lightweight and also through great combinations.
Duran and Ray Lenoard are the only fighters I could see beating Floyd thought I'd still favor Money May.
man de la hoya would whoop may in lightweight and prime welter oscar
