HE SAID PACQUIAO WOULD BE EASIER FOR MARQUEZ BECAUSE PACQUIAO IS NOT WILD AND UNPREDICTABLE ANYMORE. DAMN PAC :nonono:
I made the same remark to one of the people I was watching the fight.
He was chaos, and now that flame was controled and became more of a boxer, and he cannot beat Marquez like that.
This "new and improve" Pacquiao; the one that tries to box doesn't work for him. Everytime he got countered, he backed off instead of engaging and forcing JMM into a firefight.
Pacquiao and marquez have mad repsect for each other and i dont blame them, but for one of them to win clearly they just have to go balls out and show no respect, who ever does that first will win
Yea this is actually entirely true. Pac was more effective against Marquez when he just bullrushed him with speed and explosiveness.
One thing Pac has improved the most over the past few years is his ring IQ. Like against Cotto you could see him figure it out, start countering over his jab with the hook and using the lead left instead of the jab.
Problem was, even his improved ring IQ isn't that of Marquez's. He thought too much, was too weary of getting hit and in the end it ended up hurting him.
I disagree, Pac had a plan, and he just followed through with Cotto,Mosley,Hatton, etc.
With JMM he had a plan that wasn't getting results and he was flustered.
It happens.
Yep, Nacho was totally correct on this one, everytime Manny would reset and let Marquez think, it was perfect for Marquez. Everytime Manny got wreckless he'd have success and JMM looked out of control and wanting to slug it out too but Manny would pull back and reset way too much.
