The ones who have so much anger towards Floyd is not so much his arrogance, but ive noticed that its his hard core fan base that annoys people. Look, Floyd knows how to sell, and knows you all will hate his trash talking so much that you will pay to see him lose.....heres the kicker though.....its not so much that you want him to lose, but more of the having the sad satisfaction of telling the obnoxious fans..."I told you so".
Best example is my friend who loved Pac but Floyd was always his favorite. Now this is fine and all, but once the whole Pac Floyd rivalry started.....his whole mindset changed towards Pac. He accused him of doping, cheating, cherry picking, calling all his previous fights before Oscar fake and frauds, ect.......Now we are all entitled to out own opinions, but ive noticed that PBF hard core backers tend to be very obnoxious. Now before you say, "Your a pactard, pac fans are worse".....not true....i tend to see people who either favor Pac or are just fans of the sport and not fan boys use logical responses unless getting into a convo with a Floyd hard core backer, not just the same responses and pics with Pac getting hit or just calling him a steroid freak because Floyd said so.
End of the day, me personally, im a fan of all types of talent, but someone tell me why is it that i tend to see the Floyd fan boys with Pac pics that are of him getting hit, or making jokes about him doping compared to the other side? Call me what you want, this is my observation, and if someone can prove me wrong, im all ears, and open to objection, but like i said....Floyds fan base is what rubs people the wrong way more than Floyd does i think.
I don't hate Floyd
I hate his fighting style. It's like watching the Harlem Globetrotters play the Washington Federals. He can be the biggest butthole this side of Ava Devine's anus for all I care. I wanna see him turn that defense into more offense - not potshot and elbow carefully picked opponents to dull decisions. Just like boxing in general is just not as good as it was 15 years ago, the same can be said about these new jack hip hop bling bling boxing fans.
With that said....
If anyone one has earned the right to fight like that, it's Floyd. Most boxers today expect to be millionaires after 10 pro fights, which is ridiculous. Floyd has caught the game at the right time and played it perfectly.
The only thing I dislike about Mayweather is that sometimes his comments are really silly and, without question, without proper reason. He's great for the sport but sometimes his mouth gets carried away. Other than that, he's still #1 in my eyes.

This is a really good point.
Its true that its partly down to his hardcore fan base who are among some of the most obnoxious people I've ever seen.
But otherwise, his diva-like arrogance, history of domestic violence, his stupidity/racism and his attitudes towards money and legacy make him very much unlike-able to me.
I respect Mayweather for other things though. I respect his fierce independence as opposed to Pacquiao's disgusting relationship with Arum. His genuine hard work and discipline to stay in top shape even with long lay offs. And of course his talent, which in my opinion, could have led him to be a top 10 ATG if only he cared about legacy.
this whole fan base thing and pactards vs flomos didn't exist until manny got real big. Don't know why people come down on floyd fans for whats happening. i didn't see any of this retardation when floyd fought hatton, oscar and baldomir.
They hate him because he beats EVERYONE who they think will beat him. In other words, they wanted DLH to beat Floyd. Everyone they think is going to be the one to silence him ends up getting their asses kicked.
Because he acts like a dick too much in public. While I'm sure he's actually nicer than the media sets him out to be... he's still a dick to me.
Also personally I don't like cocky people. He comes off as arrogant and ignorant. I have friends who're cocky (one worships Floyd and said he'd be thankful if Floyd spit in his mouth) and they annoy me, but I still hang with them.
It's because of the virulent and sometimes racist pactard fanbase that only jumped on the Manny bandwagon after the Oscar win that people dislike Manny. People hate Floyd because of Floyd and it just befuddles them that anybody can like or even support this guy. Floyd fans like Manny too but just like Floyd better. What they hate about Manny are the Pactards. Manny fans seem to just like Manny and hate Floyd as a person.
Bro, you are right to say Floyd's fans are obnoxious. If you think about it, they are just trying to emulate Floyd's thugboy- personality. They parrot his ways.
I, myself am a fan of "Pretty Boy" Floyd, but an Anti-Fan of Money May and his "public" diva-like negotiations. Honestly, its more of a frustration with Floyd not hate.
I'm really fickle when it comes to Mayweather. One minute I'll love him, the next I'll absolutely despise him. **** that sounds so much like a one-way homo relationship on my part.
I now think of him more as the Mario Balotelli of boxing. Ultra talented, but comes out with a lot of things that really wind me up. Like he actually believes that there is no disputing he's the greatest fighter ever.
I think his fan boys talk even more than he does.
