LOL - did you know that Andre Ward's dad is white? Somebody was saying it, and I didn't believe it -but I watched the showtime 360 jant, and sure enough - his pops was whiter than snow! LOL!. . . I think Ward's Dad was Irish, like proper Irish, not Irish-American. Open to correction on this but I think his mother is British. Also, I agree - Bute/Froch is a MUCH MORE exciting matchup than Ward/Bute - which will be a fight in which each fighter throws maybe 300 punches. . One of those "5 landed punches vs. 7 landed punches" a round. . . no drama. . . no action. . . The link appears to suggest Froch-Kessler II is the more lucrative fight. Trouble is, Sauerland wants it in Copenhagen, Denmark - and that ain't gonna happen if Froch wins the Super 6.

Bingo. Ward and Froch have been through the toughest schedule in the division to get where they are at. For Bute to just watch from the outside, and get a free pass at the winner is sickening. Bute needs to EARN a shot at the super-six winner. A face-off with Kessler/Dirrell first, winner faces Super-six champ. Ward and Froch entered a tournament who left the number 2 of the time apart. Bute does not have to earn his shot, he did a long time ago. Beside, how long do you think the effect of the tounament will play? If they ant big money, they have to do it soon.

The Froch-Ward winner should fight Kessler first, and the winner of that fight Bute. . . I say in that order because Kessler was originally part of hte tournament. . . super six Whoever wins the super six is gunna haver a big line up of big names opponents i wouldnt mind seeing either ward or froch fight the likes of kessler and bute.

Froch needs to be smart with Ward.

5M pounds is a loooot of money. Sauerland out very early with this offer obviously trying to prevent Froch from signing another fight before considering a rematch with Mikkel Kessler. The offer also ensures that should Froch want Kessler in Nottingham he'll have to pay a lot of money which is what he should since Froch's the one seeking redemption.
