I honestly think Manny will still win. I just underestimated the rivalry factor and how both guys are made for each other. Ali beats Foreman who dominates Frazier........ Morales dominates jones who dominated Barrera..... Again, when two guys are made for each other, there will always be close fights....and that's the lesson I hope everyone learned from last night. just dont see it. the only time i thought he would was after the margo fight manny was phenominal in that fight but thats a style that compliments mannys. after the mosley fight and last night i just dont think manny has the tools to beat mayweather.

i want canelo , chavez jr. , angulo and brandon rios. throw in brandon rios and rafa marquez too. fight all of them next year and retire.

that cut on his eye wont be fully healed in 3 months..and basically you want him to get his ass beat 3 times next year and retire? The cut didn't seem that bad, nothing some stitches and no contact can't heal in a month. And honestly- whatever your feelings about who won last night, you have to admit it was most compelling Manny fight in years. He's been on cruise control for a while and he needed someone who wasn't afraid of him to push him to the brink. Is there anyone out there right now who feels cheated after last night? Have you heard of anyone asking for a refund? It was a great competitive fight and ended once again in controversy. Manny says he's retiring in 2012, so he doesn't have a lot of time left. Might as well maximize your time, profits, etc.

The 4th fight would only be made because of the money involved. Clearly a 1.3-1.5 million dollar fight. With that said, fans need to realize that these fights will always be close. I ask for forgiveness up front to anyone I disrespect with this comment, but in ironic fashion, with Frazier's passing and his trilogy with Ali being brought up, we should have knew this would happen. Frazier was blew out by Foreman and was considered done heading into the Thrilla in Manilla. Likewise, Marquez was blew out by Floyd and was considered to old to compete with Manny. However in both situations, each were made for each other. 4th fight ends in a 115-113 or Drawish type bout as well. Maybe with the money and first 4-5 bout match between two rivals is intriguing, but I still see the same results...... Manny winning but never doing enough to silence Marquez and his fans.

And the list Should include Marquez, Mayweather, and Sergio (Bradley is probably more realistic). I think there should be an immediate rematch for Marquez. I'm thinking in February. Both guys can maintain their physical conditioning easier if the fight isn't 6 months away. They just need to take the rest of this month and next month to heal before they start sparring. No need for a full 24/7, just do a countdown. Just cash in on the coverage and controversy of this fight, do a quick turn around. Hold the fight at Cowboys stadium and get the absolute best and most reputable judges on duty. I'm 100% convinced that these guys could fight 1000 times at 5 different weights and the result will always be the same- controversy. They are the yin to the other's yang. Then if he wins, Take on Floyd in the Summer. If he wins, retire. If the fight is controversial (draw, disputed result, etc) or just a damn good fight that people want to see a repeat of, then do it again. His political duties get in the way of him doing that. Not really. He misses congressional sessions all the time due to fighting and other activities. They give him official pardons for his fights.
