No pus$ying around and giving various possible outcomes.
Let's separate the bums from those who know boxing.
I know the huge favourite is Pac, but don't just say who wins. Tell us when and how.
Me: Pac wins. But not by the walkover everyone expects. 116-112.
It will have similarities with Pac-Cotto in terms of Marquez using his jab and countering well early on and disrupting Pac's rhythm. And that will sustain rather than with Cotto where it curtailed and he left himself frustrated and open.
Also if you're one of those gimps that's been suggesting Marquez is on something then GTFO of my thread. Marquez has said over and over how incredible Mayweather and Pac are as opponents and the respect he has for them. Yet still you're desperately trying to attach something to him as if it helps your fighter in some way. Marquez hasn't had nearly the same rise in weight and dominance that Pac and May have (and his physique now is only slightly different than it was against May, yet he's had much more time to work on it). If Marquez is on something, then May and Pac are on some even more serious sh!t so stay away dumb a$$es.
Pacquiao by either wide decision or late stoppage. I think he's just a different fighter now than he was before and Marquez has shown signs of slipping for a while now, plus the added weight won't help if the Mayweather fight was any indication, regardless of styles, Marquez looked like crap.
Due to both fighters' ability I wouldn't be surprised if any of these outcomes occur.
Although yesterday's weigh in hasn't changed how I feel about this. Marquez looked good and he's been keeping this weight for some time now so it should feel more natural to him this time round. I think he causes Pac problems but not nearly enough for a win. 116-112 is still looking good to me.
JMM pulled out by his corner at the end of the 10th, i think it will be a cracker for 3-4 rounds then Pac will take over and hand out a heavy beating to the mexican.
jmm knocks out pacquiao in 2.
jmm drops pacquiao several times in the 1st.
pac is saved by the bell.
jmm finishes pac off in the next round.
pac is just not on jmm's level.
ideally pac on a decision. that way floyd will still be on but jmm still gets credit.
honest opinion - pac will be too much for jmm and will stop him, maybe brutally, around the 6th or 7th.
