Totally a way for a duck Maidana is the bigger draw and deserves atleast 700 K for this fight, if anything Bradley should get less, they obviously dont want none of Maidana Bradley is a coward and so is Bob Arum.
ChinoMaidana Marcos Maidana

@sparkout @seckbach Top Rank offered 150k for that fight. So if Bradley thinks I can face him for those peanuts he'll keep dreaming

Yea, in his contract with Shaw.
I don't know what his quote is with Top Rank, but I can all but guarantee he's not making that for the Casamayor fight.
He's probably taking short money for the "showcase" fight with the understanding he's next in line for Manny if the Floyd fight doesn't come through.
This is Bradley's last fight with Shaw,I think Shaw get's a piece of what Bradley earns and then they part ways..

If this really is supposed to be Bradley's showcase fight then he picked the wrong opponent. Casamayor is a southpaw with a history of headbutting. This fight will probably be a boring one sided fight until an "accidental" headbutt ends the fight. No one is going to be hyped up about Bradley after this fight, IMO.
Isnt Bradley guranteed 1.1 million or something? That was one of his excuses for ducking Khan.

Maybe, but why even offer 150k if the idea is to avoid a fighter. How would Bradley or TR, for that matter, know Maidana doesn't accept in hopes of winning and getting a lucrative fight with Manny? These things do go into consideration, I believe. As for the 150k, it's damn low but there's a bigger prize within a distance, all he has to do is win.
I don't blame either one of them.
150k for a PPV undercard fight is about right...PPV undercards don't pay well, there's a reason good cards are so rare, the money to pay the fighters is coming out of the promoters' pockets.
It's a fair offer for a PPV Undercard fight....but Maidana is totally within his rights to say Fcuk no as he can make way more than that.
I agree with pretty much everything you said, apart from Morales. Honestly I thought Morales won, he landed the better punches consistently through the fight, Maidana landed big in some rounds and won those rounds clearly, but got outboxed and outfought for a big portion of the fight. I thought Morales won 7 rounds, or maybe a draw.
i thought it was really close but i had it opposite somethign like Maidana winning 7 and morales 5
maidana's claims are worth jack **** to me.
we're talking about a guy who faked an injury to pull out of 2 fights last year. including one with bradley.
the guy refused a victor ortiz rematch.
he even turned down rematch against an old erik morales.
yet he's the victim.
yet he's the one that's supposedly being ducked.
give me a break.
he has no right to complain about bradley after the bull**** he pulled last year.
I agree with what you're saying to an extent. And I have criticised Maidana in the past for that.
But theres no way in hell Arum was seriously gonna put Bradley-Maidana on an undercard. The offer Top Rank made wasnt serious. They just did it to make out they were lookin for better fights than Casamayor. And to take some heat off Bradley for all the criticism hes been getting.
^^^^^ I agree with guy a couple posts up Maidana beat Kotelnik, lets cut all the BS, he was robbed. Maidana has solid resume - beat Kotelnik, Cayo, Morales in a very entertaining fight, he beat ortiz and had a close FOTY fight with Khan

Turning down $150k
This guy was probably wiping his ass bare hand 5 years ago.
On a serious note, Maidana for a "so called" fearless warrior, resembles 99% of the fighters out there for me, measuring risk vs reward. This guy understands the game and is every much a primadonna as a lot of other tv fighters. He looks for stylistic matchups which benefit his style, nothing wrong with that, but is particularly annoying when his fans make him out to some killer in the ring. His style is aggressive, and I enjoy watching him though.
Yep that did happen.
But things have changed. Bradley is now with Top Rank. Where the current motto is...
"We TRIED to make that fight."
"(When actually we didnt because we lowballed them or made ridiculous weight demands that are impossible to be met)"

am i the only one here that remember bradley-maidana being signed last year?
and before the fight happened , maidana faked an injury and pulled out of the fight?

It sickens me when you see stuff like this. We can only wish that boxer's were paid and ranked fairly, purely based on ability and merit.
In my eyes Bradley ain't sh*t until he fights Khan or Maidana. It honestly wouldn't surprise me to see a robbery in Bradley's favor in either of these fights if they ever actually happen. I would be confident both opponents have the ability to stop Bradley though.
I think the 140lb division is already tainted, due to the treatment/robberies inflicted upon Lucas Martin Matthysse, one of the divisions best fighters. It wouldn't surprise me to see him robbed yet again if he can lure another top "name" into the ring.
Also, Devon Alexander is a useless bum who should have a 20-3 record. I can't wait to see him getting brutally KO'd. No way they can save him.
I just don't get it. Why do they push these guys and try to pass them off as marketable when they clearly do not have the goods?
i got more respect for Alexander than Bradley though cause atleast Alexander isnt a duck
its the other way around Maidana ain't sh1t why should he be demanding any type of Money? how long is he going to live off on the Ortiz win his only other claim to fame is losing 9 rounds to Khan and Kotlnik
Holt? Seriously? LOL! Khan is going to knock Peterson out. Many people, myself included had Maidana winning the Kotelnik fight. If it had been on neutral ground, no doubt the result would have been different. Khan has been on fire post-Prescott/teaming with Roach. There were spells in the fight were Maidana made him look not so hot. No one else in the division is capable of doing that to Khan. Alexander is a bum.
Khan is #1. His best win is over #2 Maidana. Maidana had a draw atleast again Kotelnik. Kotelnik beat Alexander, as did Matthysse. Maidana stopped Ortiz, a man who Peterson could only draw with. Khan is going to knock out Peterson, trashing Bradley's best win in the process. Bradley's best win after that will be who? Alexander? Exposed as a fraud. Holt? Average at best.
