Juan Manuel Marquez weight: 141LBs!!!

People focus too much on weight. Pac weighed in 144 in the Margarito fight. People say he's too light. Some say Marquez should have done the same thing to maintain his speed in the Floyd fight. Anyways, Pac will not likely come at a full 144. He's even having a hard time reaching that weight. I would agree that Pac should have requested 140 and could have avoided some of the criticisms against this fight. :usa:

That ain't that serious, he should also try and enter the ring at about 142-144 lbs.

I have a feeling that Pac is going to be even lighter than Marquez. He's probably going to be 140 to JMM's 141. I hate that this fight is at 144, it should have been at 140.

Amazing news damn. He can come under 144. Pac will fight him regardless. This is going to be an epic war. The weight helps both tremendously because it's just a little and makes it that much more likely to see brutal exchanges and blood.

nah, rather than restrict caloric intake marquez simply is able to eat whatever he wants now coupled with vigorous workout regimens. . . same thing as manny. . neither really has to "cut" weight to get to around 142-144. . . True. I remember him talking about eating tacos and lifting rocks when he was going to fight mayweather. :lol1:
