Klitschko Documentary suprisingly fair to Lennox's Victory

It also showed slo-mo of Lennox "lacing" Vitali's cut, jabbing with the inside of his wrist and lace to make the cut worse which is illegal and dirty as hell. Well, they didn't quite show Lewis lacing the cut. They showed him landing punches and the laces hitting with the follow through, which is legal. It is illegal to rub the laces whilst in a clinch, which is actually what "lacing" is. Anyway, apologists can make excuses. Vitali made no excuses. He knows he and Lewis were equals, but that Lewis got the better of him in that fight and their careers were headed in different directions. He's not sad about it, you can see that much.

vitali retired lennox lewis fact Not fact. Vitali tested Lewis better than anybody* else and was his equal until the stoppage, that's a fact. Lewis was on the cusp of retiring anyway, his conditioning for the Vitali fight is evidence enough of that. * McCall and Rahman were not on Lewis' level. A lucky punch and totally overlooking his opponent were to blame, and both losses were avenged. I'd say Vitali was Lewis' best opponent and best victory, given how he and Wlad have dominated since.

Everyone go watch this! people dont seem to get that you can go blind in there. sam langford harry greb both guys are in most people's top ten all time p4p both went blind (greb in one eye, langford in both) or get your eyes rearranged (ie you'll go into the fight with them looking straight ahead and come out of it with them pointing in different directions.

Yeah I've seen the documentary, it was pretty good (won't win awards though), but it was especially annoying when they voiced over the english speakers. About the eye: Vitali would've lost his eye had the doctor not stopped it. His face was about to fall off and the number of stitches required is evidence for this. Didn't the expert say the damage was an eight, with irreparable artery damage a 10?
