I've been thinking - I've been giving Brandon Rios a bit of **** but lately the more I see him on ESNews, I actually think he'd be quite a lot of fun to hang out with. I still think that as an illigimate title holder, he's got a lot to learn but his personality has grown on me a lot. I'll be looking forward to him destroying Murray next week. Murray reminds me a lot of Rios in that he's a walking punch bag relying on his brute force rather than boxing skills.
Maweather- I hated his stupid cocky money persona then I actually saw him fight and was instantly amazed by his abilities. After seeing his skills it became hard not to like him as a fighter.
Rios- His shit talking was annoying as fuck. Then I got used to his sense of humor. And his style of fighting never dissapoints.
Vitali Klitschko- Thought he was a smug cocky human being. He's actually incredibly smart, hell both Klitschkos are. It surprised me how this mean looking giant could be so nice and intelligent. And I love how he keeps his left hand down to his kneecap when he fights.
Khan- I'm not sold on him just yet but if he keeps winning he'll have a new fan.
:biggthump
I can't say that Rios has completely won me over yet, but I still prefer him over Ortiz. Ortiz just really bugs me to the point where I was rooting for Mayweather.
I find myself hating more fighters that I used to like.
i havent ever started off hating anybody. but pac staring at his own movie like it was a masterpiece and how self absorbed hes become i dont like him now. Confidence is one thing (you need it to fight) but watching your fave movie that happens to star you and making people who are around you all day, watch it too. that tops floyds ego even.
Don't compare Mayweather and Pacquiao, we don't know his reason for watching his own movie he is still a humble guy

Pacquiao.. i thought Morales would've got the better of him where he younger and i didnt like how he was taking fights against older boxers (Barrera II) his style made for a lot of action but i didn't really like the way he just threw one twos, it would put me off. i also thought Marquez should have one at least one of their fights.. right around the time of the David Diaz fight though he started to change his style up and develop more skill. not only that but I watched a lot of interviews with him in them and Manny as a person also grew on me.
Miguel Cotto - Not really sure what put me off about him at first but I didn't hate him, I just wasn't too fond of him but every fight I watched Miguel grew on me more and more until he became one of my favorite fighters.
Always hated Floyd Mayweather, but I learned to admire his tremendous abilites and ring intelligence. Still hate his Money May persona outside of the ring though.
To a lesser extent Carl Froch. Not as one-dimensional as I thought and with a very impressive year. I'd have never thought he'd be anywhere the top 20 P4P and now he has a real case...
Also Hopkins, I am still not his biggest fan, but he kinda won me over with the Pavlik-fight and his stare to the press row was goosebumps material. Credit where credit is due, where he is at his age is simply amazing.
he's fighting murrary on the cotto/margs card.
and i myself never really hated an actual fighter but just more of their fanbase. that said, in the beginnng i thought khan was a bit of a hypejob, but he is continuing to fight top guys in his weight class so nothing really bad could be said about the guy if he continues winning.
