Kellerman blatantly repeated the "this is bullsh!t" chant on-air last Saturday night...that alongside Merchant's "if I was fifty years younger" blurt and I'd say HBO needs to sit down with their commentators and review the code of conducts policy.
Did anyone else catch Roy Jones say "Biitch as.s muthafaka!" everytime he commented on Narvaez?
I think there should be more swearing by the HBO crew. Id like to see Lampley say shiit more, and i think 'cunt' would suit Larry.
you serious? I didn't catch that at all. I did, however, catch the Donaire nut hugging from Jones, it was hilarious IMO

i dunno what world most boxing fans live in but i live in a world where fuuck is a pretty common word. i find it disgraceful that boxing interviews and forums (like this one) censor certain words.
you know why profanity is an issue? because people make a bigger deal out of it than it really is. seriously...whats the difference between crap and shiit? or poop?
if anything, poop sounds grosser and mushier than shiit hahahahah. i've always been surprised at how PC/soft boxing fans were. i love interviews by guys like arreola. it's not fake ass shiit. and i live in the real world so i appreciate honesty like that
It's HBO, and it's Boxing After Dark. Anyone that would be offended by the language used by some fighters or their corner should be asleep by then, or not watching in the first place.
If they can show their shows at 9, which curse a lot more and feature nudity, why the hell would anyone care about sh** or f*** being said sometimes?
**** that. I pay 15 dollars a month extra for HBO. I don't care if they cuss or not. I cuss myself so I don't have a problem with it. There's also SAP. Or MUTE. Just turn on sap and none of y'all will know wtf they are saying lol

HBO is not a basic cable channel, its a payed premium channel. FCC rules on profanity for those type of channels are much more laxed then say a channel like tbs or tnt.
It comes with the territory. Boxing is drama. Drama brings tension from people and then you get reality.
As for Kellerman, well he was just repeating the chant from the crowd, which was necessary journalism.
I would rather this any day over Sky's constant apologies every time a corner-man swears at his fighter. Come on guys, it's 11pm at night. What the hell are you guys apologising for - anyone who is watching knows this comes with the territory.

You better not go to a live boxing match then.
it's not like that swear through the whole telecast.. the announcers rarely drop foul language.. whoever, it is boxing; a very emotional sport. people, including announcers get carried away with the high drama some times.
