it doesnt take an ATG to beat Floyd. There are fighters fighting today who arent or wont be ATGs and they could beat Floyd if he gave them the chance to. There are people fighting now, who are better than anyone FLoyd has ever faced. Floyd who has has a competent career hasnt fought that great fighters, and anyone who on paper is better than his previous opponents would beat Floyd. Pac for sure, Sergio and Khan even. Thats just the top of my head.

Sugar Ray Robinson would have beaten Mayweather, as would Sugar Ray Leonard, Duran at 135, Tommy Hearns at any weight, Terry Norris and Pernell Whitaker.

My point seems pretty clear........ My initial post was in response to your reply to Skills Pay Bills..... Skills clearly pointed out that he didnt have a problem with people saying Duran would beat Mayweather......I guessing you responded to that post because you believe that Duran WOULD have punished Floyd..........you alluded to the fact that Duran was 10 times the monster Floyd is...also asking to name ATG that Floyd had beaten as to why he could have beaten Duran...... My response was simply to compare Vitali with Ali......who has Vitali beaten to be able to hang with Ali....cuz he has not beaten a single HW, right? Pac can definitely beat floyd, but ts is askijg who we're sure of that can beat floyd. There's nothing sure about pac beating floyd.

Again, Pac would beat Floyd, and i want him to try and prove me wrong. Duran and SRL and many other past greats would be expected to beat him in some peoples eyes, but they are long time retired so it will never happen. Pac can happen and he can prove people wrong. Then Floyd can boast you thought Pac could beat me and you were wrong. So to think SRL or Duran would beat me is wishful thinking.

How does Leonard stopping Hearns make any difference towards Floyd's chances? They don't fight alike, or hold the same advantages over Hearns, or have the same physical attributes, so what's the connection? I agree, IMHO if i were to chose 1 fighter at 147 who could beat Mayweather it would be Hearns. His style and reach would be able to keep Mayweather in check.

I have absolutely problems whatsoever with you saying Duran would beat Floyd. I am just saying Duran isn't doing any "punishing" to a 135 Floyd Mayweather who was an unadulterated BEAST at that weight. I could see either one winning that bout without any sort of suprise. im not sold on Hearns beating Floyd @ 147 since Sugar Ray was able to stop Hearns. Duran @ 135 would have been a great fight but again not 100% that Duran wins. im going to go out on a limb and say a prime Kostya Tszyu @ 140 would have been interesting. Floyds chin is not equal to srl' chin. Srl went toe to toe with hearns, not to mention with duran and hagler. Floyd, not so much. Now way floyd makes it thru that.
