i suggest that they paid off the doctor to come out with a false report. I dont know whats so hard to understand and i dont know where you see a contradiction in what i said. I want a report made by someone that isnt associated with GBP or Hopkins and companu. But like you said its impossible unless the victim allows it and Hopkins wouldnt allow something that isnt beneficial for him. What they posted was an official document though, so for you to deny its legitimacy is to suggest forgery. You also in another post suggest (with no apparent contradiction) that GBP paid off the doctors, instead. The only lingering doubt I have though was that you seemed to suggest it was a forgery, since it was released by GBP/Hopkins themselves, but then you promptly changed your story to suggest bribery when it was revealed (by me) that only the patient themselves are at a liberty to reveal such information. Bernard Hopkins is terrible for acting;/faking. Jumping out of the ring against Allen, faking against Calzaghe and Jones Jr and now this. I know, right. And for GBP to payoff an ER doctor to fabricate an injury diagnosis is really something else.

Did you explain to your kids that doing what Hopkins did is illegal and that hes known for dirty fighting and acting like hes hurt? Did you explain to them that constant leaning on your opponent drains them of their energy which is critical in fights? What Chad did wasn't the most fair thing to do, but lets not act like Bernard is the saint here. To me, it is pretty clear that Dawson was acting in retaliation. As you say, Dawson wasn't really in the right, but Hopkins is certainly not a saint. However, the relevant question pertains to the official result of the fight, e.g. the "TKO victory" for Dawson, which was very clearly improper (imho). There is plenty to be said of the various circumstances surrounding this fight, but the question at hand is really about the official result. And just my take, but I was very disgusted by Dawson's post-fight conduct. Again, that was just my perception.

To be honest from the replay it doesn't look like Hopkins intentionally jumped on Dawson. It looked like he lost his balance after missing the punch he threw. And then Dawson threw him off his back. This might very well have been two unintentional fouls. His foot was way off the ground, he literally hopped onto Dawson after missing

It might be a frustrating position to be in, but you are correct, the best thing for Dawson to do, would have been to let the ref break them up. He faed having a concussion from a lil tap on the back of the head agaisnt Roy Jones too I see, the document is not actually a forgery, but is a genuine document. It is however a case of bribery whereby the doctor was paid to falsely diagnose a fictitious injury. Very interesting insights, what a service it is to have so many muckrakers like your self on the board to reveal the truth.
