How does everyone else feel about the rise in PPV prices??

I'm done with ppv, they raise the cost and give us less. Unless my friends pitch in and throw a fight party.

You didn't enjoy the Arce-Vazquez Jr. fight? That was the DeMarco-Linares of the Pac-Mosley card. Acre vs WV2 was a nice fight but no where near as good as Demarco vs Linares

Besides Pacquiao vs Mosley all the PPVs have had good/great undercards so I am fine with it. The funny thing I'm still contemplating getting tonight's ppv because I'm going through boxing withdrawal...it can't be worse than the 4 round mayweather -Ortiz can it? I forked over 70 bucks for the hd version of that and felt like I got had on that purchase I hope you ddnt pay for that sh!t. Just watched on youtube and I felt I was cheated.

PPVs only hurt boxing especially those with Mayweather, Hopkins, DLH, etc.

Floyd vs Ortiz - 4 rounds Dawson-Hopkins - 2 roudns At this rate it looks like Pacquiao-Marquez III will end in round 1 and Cotto-Margarito II won't even make it to the ring :sad2: i think those ones are gonna be pretty good and IMO marquez is gonna put up a good fight

True enough. The undercard was solid. Those three fights would have made a killer TV card in a perfect world. Always that feeling of deflation when the much anticipated headline fight doesn't come off right, though. yes but i wasnt expecting much action anyways pac marquez and cotto margartio here we come :) plus all the free hbo actio looks great coming up too and showtime so we have a ****ty night people freak out sh!t happens look at the bright side demarco-linares was a special fight

u shouldnt complain if u only tune in for the main event. its like being mad about paying for a four course meal cause u think it costed to much but u only ate the fourth course thats what the undercard is for big disapointment tho i think we r gauruntied action with pac-marquez and cotto marg

the pressure is on pac-marquez and cotto-margarito and i think we r guarantied our moneys worth with those ones

I would just much rather spend $50 on food or beer. Especially when I have a reliable, quality stream that I can watch in full screen on my laptop. I'm so used to it that I don't think I'll ever go back to buying PPVs. But hey, at least you're supporting American boxers. That's what many do now. Stream is way to go. $60 say 3 PPV = $180. That's like dinner for two at outbacks 4 times. You get laid more easy to outbacks steakhouse than with PPV.....just saying.

Dawson vs Hopkins $60....WTF??? I already purchased this bout, and as much as this sucks that PPV prices are rising, at least the number, per year, is going down. We have only had 5 this year with Pacquiao vs Mosley, Mayweather vs Ortiz, Dawson vs Hopkins, Pacquiao vs Marquez and Margarito vs Cotto II, so maybe it's not too bad paying a little more for each PPV. Sucks for you man, Time Warner is charging $44.95 for HD. Naah bro, I think it sux for you....lol I had Timewarner for 3 months and got absolutely raped with their monthly pricing. I love the D* because I'm always on promo packs etc, so with all the free sh1t I get, they more than make up for it. Just my opinion....but to each his own. ***BTW I am jealous of the fact that you guys can watch Timewarner anywhere via an app they got for the IPad...lol***

I think PPV will be around $65 next year. I personally don't mind the trade off of higher prices and reducing the number per year. $65 per ppv when there are only 4-5 per year is a lot better than $54 per ppv event with 7-10 a year. yup i agree, we should pay more for less
