Fans of Floyd....

It's pretty obvious neither team is going out of their way to make the fight. They make tremendous paydays with less risk against other fighters. To 100% blame one fighter and not the other is ignorance. Comments from both teams have been self contradicting, inaccurate or inconsistent. B*tching out either one of them as being solely responsible for the fight not happening is a sure sign of nut hugging. Plain and simple.

i don't expect arum/pac to initiate another round of negotiations. last time they did floyd went on vacation and hid himself away from it. in short, floyd snubbed them. if floyd is really interested, he can simply send ellerbe out there and negotiate the fight for him. floyd is also on record saying, "i do the offering, not them." floyd will feel insulted if arum initiates it and offers a mere $50 million guarantee. :bigeyes:

this seems to be more a conflict between arum and floyd i think. floyd doesn't want to put up his name for arum, and share the profits with him, and we know arum likes to make inhouse fights to maximize profits. the whole ost thing is just mumbo jumbo, because pac has little say over arum's matchmaking.

Forget Pacquiao Forget the contradicting Pacman and his team. They never wanted any part of Floyd. Freddie figured out long ago the blueprint to beating Floyd can't be created. And they can't make him drain himself down to a catchweight (Although, I wouldn't be surprised if Floyd offered to come in at a catchweight and either Freddie, Ariza, Koncz, Arum or the Pacman himself, flat out turned it down.) So forget Pacquiao. He's full of promises, but no willingness to back them up.

unfortunately for boxing fans, pac and floyd have contented themselves to negotiate through the media and issue conflicting statements. nobody wants to be the bigger man and step up to the plate. even the simple task of initiating a negotiation is too damn a big deal for these 2 divas. don't know what they're thinking but it's mind boggling how they can't realize that whoever is the first one to show real intent to fight (negotiate) will win the approval of the boxing fans.

ESPN sways with the wind. The floyd manny debate is the same as Lebron Kobe debate from a year ago. Lebron was great until he decided to make a financial decision that benefitted himself. Then all the sudden ESPN atrted pointing out his lack of a jumpshot, post game, and his "maturity" issues. He had the same issues before the "decision" but he was supposedly better than Kobe then suddenly he wasn't. Same as Mayweather Manny. Mayweather is Kobe and Manny is lebron (pre decision). Manny is more popular so everything is about floyd. As soon as ESPN really looks at what happened and begins to ask questions about how the fight fell apart (listen to Brian Kenney podcast with bill simmons on Grantland) over PED testing, if the tide swings they'll be more honest in how they cover Manny, just like lebron.

I know you are all sick an tired of these don't know sh1t about boxing ESPN talking heads calling Floyd a coward and all the nuthugging Pactards saying Manny has agreed to all testing. Floyd can show all these guys up by sending Mr. Ellerbe to offer Pac a fight against Floyd after Pac KOs that shot, blownup LW Marquez. But he has to agree to full testing right then. That would show everyone that Floyd doesn't have nightmares about Pac and the world will see he doesn't want to be tested. I know Floyd will consider doing it because he said he wants to make fights we his fans want to see and we all want to shut up these stupid fanboy pactards. When Pac rejects it because it isn't approved by his owner Arum and he won't be able to have the fight fixed, people will see who really wants this fight. Hows that sound guys? It's kinda backwards if you ask me, the guy refusing should want to show he's clean. Floyd has already put it out there "Take the test & we got a fight. No test no fight". On the same lines why is the mainstream media (The same media that parades Barry Bonds, Sammy Sosa and Lance Armstrong as cheaters, protecting Manny from testing?) None of these reporters ever ask follow up questions, Manny says "There is no issue with the testing", when have you seen someone ask him to clearify that? They just let it go, open ended and all. Floyds put it out there and his stance on the issue has not changed, but mannys has changed many times.

Pacman is afraid of Floyd just like he WAS afraid of Mosley UNTIL Floyd dominated Shane.Think about this: Floyd MIGHT, just Might be a little worried about Pac but thats it, a little worried. FLOYD: "man that guy strangely got super in his older age wow, ANYWAY I still fight him just take drug test to be sure you aren't on anything but i still fight you just take test." Now the haters can say oh floyd is scared and this and that but after you get past the Floyd is scared thing whats next? Nothing for Pac to say but "ha ha ha, Im so good they think im on something lol, let me take this stupid test and show them Floyd was afraid of me!" Honestly... i think they're both milking the fans for every penny. More so arum than mayweather. There's no good reason to fight marquez @ this time @ this weight. There was good reason to fight ortiz. Arums running out of henchmen and floyd has only got 2 choices, Khan(if he looks good @47) or martinez. It looks like who ever fights martinez 1st will be callin the shots. i wouldn't say floyd is milking the fans he tried to make the fight 2 years ago.. and after the mosley fight.. it's arum and pacquiao team.. all they have to do is TAKE THE TEST!!
