Wow.. Pacquiao vs Cotto was nearly 2 years ago

Watched it again, I think I watch it at least once a week.

the fact Cotto moved up to 154 after that catchweight fight plus past prime cotto looking suspect the fight before takes a lot from this win. kind of sad this is Pacquiao best fight at 147 :nonono: fact is Pacquiao vs Bradley sh1ts on this fight Maybe he just felt there was nothing left for him at welterweight. He weighed at 146 in his fight against clottey (the fight before pac) so I don't think he was really struggling to make welterweight.

I was watching this fight on my flight from Iraq yesterday. Good fight.

The first 4 rounds of this fight were some of the very best in recent memory. I wonder how many Pac fans were pissing their pants when Cotto was pummeling Pac against the ropes in rd. 4... (and we all know what happened mere seconds later).

That was a fight worth paying for.

I remember thinking that maybe someone at HBO ****ed up and accidentally re-aired the first Pac Barrera fight

thats the kind of excitement you pay ppv for. no matter how many years passed after that fight, youre still pumped watching it again. one can only imagine what future boxing fans will say when they watch this in retrospect, this is pacquiaos era and he will be remembered with the likes of tyson, hagler, leonard hearns etc, the fighter of the decade and champion in 8 weight division. green k for bringing this up this early....

I agree time does fly. I was present at that fight and that was the first MAJOR boxing event I have ever attended, and let me tell you what a TRULY amazing experience that was. That was my first big boxing event. Bold part You sounded like Mayweather.

That fight is my favourite one so far in the last 5 years. I thought Cotto was going to stop Pacquiao in the 8th from Body Shots.

I usually have no sympathy for any of Pac's victims but I Was a big Cotto fan before this fight,(still am) I remember feeling bad for the guy after the fight. Yeah, i know what you mean. I feel bad for Cotto when i watch GP's highlight videos of Cotto-Margs and Cotto-Pac
