you never hear anyone say pacman or martinez will outbox floyd or outclass him. al you hear is, they have too much power, will knock weak little brittle floyd out. funny thing to say about a guy who has never officially touched the canvas in his CAREER. martinez was stopped my margarito and pac has been stopped by tiny fighters, dropped many other times. so ya, hate it. $MONEYTEAM$
Why is there always some telling factor? Look at Ortiz face, why did he headbutt, Floyd was opening up, etc. Why cant you just watch the fight and decide? It was a competitive fight, and for some reason Mayweather fans wont accept that.
its very simple Flomos are just as insecure as Floyd is.....
Thats because like him, you dropped out of the fourth grade as well:owned:
yeah, what's ironic about that is that we have better grammar and punctuation than you do. stick to your boxing for dummies handbook, champ. :lol1:
lol@people still trying to make a case for ortiz. The telling factor in the fight is mayweather started to open up more. If ortiz was doing all this damage, why did floyd take more risk. Ortiz only backed mayweather up when floyd missed a
shot and ortiz threw combos. He isn't clottey or barker, smh. its kind of sad you all still talking about that fight.
Solid post.. I agree with most of what you say.
But I will say.. if May just decides to literally just run away from Manny the whole time.. like Shane/Cotto (towards the end of the fight) did than we can see another possible shutout/boring fight. However, If Floyd runs away the whole time while potshotting.. with an occasional straight right into the mix, he does have a chance to frustrate Manny, but risks getting caught opening up.
That is the traditional way of thinking, However I have studied Floyd, and when he fights southpaws for some reason he moves to his right and not to his left, when Mosley fought Pac he turned to his left he moved to his left thats why Manny wasnt able to hit him well the running away didnt help either.
if Floyd moves to his right against Manny, he gets hit, and gets hit alot. IMO the style that Floyd has will work against him in a pac fight, the left hand down low, cross over, he can not slip the same way he does against right handed fighters, when he is open for the straight left hand and the right hook.
and if you noticed in fights with Mosley, Ndou, Corley and Judah, three south paws and one right handed fighter (Mosley) were able to hurt FLoyd with that right hand, and Manny has a brand new right hook that does damage.
Tall order for Floyd, but then again its a tall order for Manny as well, I just think Manny has the right tools to beat him.
Skills do not always win fights, sometimes it is them attributes
That video just hurt alot of feelings. From the way Floyd was throwing elbows to the way the announcers were presenting the fight.
Its funny to think that Floyd says HBO is biased against him.
The creater of that video, basicly slapped the ***** out of all the flomos there. its a hard chunk of reality looking right at them and they dont like it. a true fight fan would be able to look at that, and make a clear proper assesment but here with the Flomos you havent heard that yet and you wont. they will lie until the bitter end.

wow based on your post English wasnt your best subject in school.... FYI I did not make this video, so dont say I said anything.
I posted this video to expose the Compubox fraud that took place that night, and to show the Flomos who are in denial about that elbow the reality that they tend to avoid
i understood his english perfectly... boy do you love to reach when you're arguing. i don't know why anybody bothers to argue with you. you're a tool.
Flawed video. So much crap in this video that it's funny. First off all, you discredit Floyd for his punches not causing all the "bruising" to Ortiz face and directly claimed it was elbows and forearms....yet minutes later you claim there wasn't damage at all. Which one is it? And your examples stunk to high heaven. Showing a guy who holds his left arm horizontal across his mid section and his right hand vertical against his right jaw (automatically creating a "L" shape with elbows being out) rolling with punches and barely, if even, touching Ortiz was garbage. Then you reached and showed a clip of Floyd left glove fully closed extended as a range finder and called it holding. Hahahaha! And I give you credit for pointing out Victor's nice body work. But keep it funky...despite Victor's spirited and "hard" body shots....it did absolutely nothing to deter Floyd from walking him down and even throwing his most punches in the 4th round. So be a fan of boxing instead of boxers. Ortiz came to fight and Floyd was just the better man that night. Nothing more, nothing less. You don't have to hate to give the other man props. Vic brought it...it just wasn't enough for Floyd that night. PERIOD!

Finally some people have finally given a reasonable explanation as to why they believe Pac would beat Floyd. Christ; was it that hard?
It was like getting blood from a stone.
I think it will be a tuff, fight but Pac will have an easier time than Floyd, Pac is used to fighting bigger guys, knows how to bend his knees and stay small, People make the mistake in thinking that fighting a smaller guy is easy, and that its easy to just stay behind that jab.
Reality is, its hard ****ing work to stay behind that jab and operate from there, if Victor could bait Floyd in and get to him as Floyd over committed, Manny will defently be able to do it, and with the power and speed Manny does bring, the damage will be done should Floyd dare to think he can just stand in there and bang.
Judah had Floyd confused the first four rounds, if the Pac fight looks like that, Floyd wont be able to make the adjustments by the 5th as the damage will already be done, by then it will be too late.

And there goes your cred. Floyd fought a healthy 154lber in dlh while pac fought a severely emaciated dlh.
But you want to be taken seriously with a post like this? Haha
Wrong! this post throws out your cred, nobody brought up the Pac DLH fight we all know Oscar was weight drained.
I pointed out that Floyd while in his prime, did NOT clearly beat a past his prime Oscar De La Hoya, and its the truth, the fight was won by a single point SD.
if you have a hard time beating the old guys like that, why should I think your going to do anything against a fighter like Pac
Actually, I made this thread just last week. Very few Floyd stans dared to try to make any rebuttal. So, heres your chance.
As you watch the punches landed on Floyd during the Corley and Judah fights, you see both times, he was stunned by right hands. The great thing for Floyd, is that neither Corley or Judah have the tools to be able to finish of such a talented fighter.
However, since the development of Mannys right hand, he has been putting a beating on his opponents. In each fight that Manny produced a knockdown against Cotto, Shane and Hatton,
it was the right hand that started it all. The right hook followed by a quick left. Floyds defense is highly susceptible to such a combo. Never, has he faced a fighter with such qualifications, speed, power and delivery in both hands and its making him crazy knowing that Manny can destroy his career of making money with fights against old men and inexperienced quitters.
Finally. A god dam reasonable response. Thank you good sir. Repped.

Truth.. both will be tested if they ever fight. Will not be an easy fight for either. Those who say otherwise are bias..
Good point.. if Ortiz who is not even top 10 p4p IMO.. could touch up Floyd like he did.. I would love to see what one of the best offensive south paws (pacquiao) in boxing could do to the self proclaimed 'GOAT' :lol1:

True. I have yet to see someone make a reasonable case for a Pacquiao win over Mayweather.Actually, I made this thread just last week. Very few Floyd stans dared to try to make any rebuttal. So, heres your chance.

Kid is young, immature and inexperienced. He lost his composure and mind and that cost him the fight. Specially when he's put inside a ring with a savage cheater like Floyd.
I would tag your smartass myself with a few hooks to the face, punk.
LOL @ another internet gangster. Give it a rest.
Why is Pac considered FOTD and Floyd isnt? Because people think Pac is a better fighter with a better resume.
Why should we think someone with a weak resume, or at the very least weaker resume beat Pac whether Floyd is unbeaten or not? Barker was unbeaten with a weaker resume than Sergio and no one needed to explain why Sergio might beat Barker.
Jesus are we really comparing an undefeated Floyd to an undefeated Barker?
Well for one the highest level Barker had before facing Sergio was European level. Floyd has fought the likes of Corales, Gatti, DLH, Mosley, Marquez, etc.
I'm only asking on how Pacquaio, who is Floyd's main rival (the same way Floyd is Pacquaio's main rival), beats a man who hasn't been beaten before?
I'm not asking about resume's or awards because resume's and awards don't win fights. I'm asking what does Pacquaio have in his locked that defeats a guy who hasn't lost before?
It's a real simple question if you believe so strongly that Pac dominates/beats Floyd.
